Daily Presidential Tracking Poll -- 0bama now at -14!
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 23 August 2009 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 08/23/2009 6:35:52 AM PDT by ScottinVA

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. These figures mark the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President. The previous low of -12 was reached on July 30 (see trends).

Prior to today, the number who Strongly Approved of the President’s performance had never fallen below 29%. Some of the decline has come from within the President’s own party. Just 49% of Democrats offer such a positive assessment of the President at this time.

At the other end of the spectrum, today’s total for Strongly Disapprove matches the highest level yet recorded. The 41% mark was reached just once before and that came one week ago today. Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans now Strongly Disapprove along with 49% of those not affiliated with either major party.

Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.” Topics include health care, the deficit, stimulus package, state polls and more.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove.

Thank you very much for the education. I read your post in the URL. It is well researched and describes the leprosy we call a government, to perfection.

If you don’t mind, I’ll keep your post as a reference and will change my description of 0b0z0 and his regime to CommuFascist.

One gets a FRee education on FR! Can’t ask for more than that

I don’t know. There are just so many Bush haters that it’s hard to figure if someone whom they “liked” came along on our side, if they are die-hard leftists or if they are “vote for the best man” kind of people. And I am including in that 3% the 12% of blacks, whom to one degree or another appear to have bought the Marxist line entirely. So that’s 15%. Still too low?

That has to be the logical answer. We 60-plussers are being thought of as too expensive and too politically aware for the Dhimmis to keep around.

They probably imagine a cadre of young, healthy, and grateful new foreign citizens that they can keep on the libtard reservation forever.

Blacks are starting to get the message, even if many won’t admit it to whites.

Blood is thicker than water but money is thicker than blood. Zippy’s policies are costing everybody a ton of money, whether through growing unemployment or higher taxes.

Aside from the permanent welfare class, blacks are getting just as economically antsy as everyone else.

We can only hope so. The more he shows his hate for America the less chance of DeathCare.

“For instance: what if Hussein brings pressure on two more states to pass a nonbinding resolution calling for a Constitutional Convention? That would make 34 states with such resolutions, and Congress would be forced to call that Convention, wherein the current Constitution is virtually assured to be totally rewritten to enumerate the powers of government, not the people.”

If this happens, it will be all out Civil War. The middle versus the two coasts. My money is on the middle. Why? It’ll be an automatic divide and conquer.

Yep, Holliday was a great pick-up & will help Pujols but pitching will be the big question..as always for the Cards.

Funny, we had 4 boys in my family and all were Cardinal fans even though we grew-up in Dayton. I'm right handed but learned to bat left-handed after my idol, Stan Musial. Now I play golf left handed but tennis right-handed.

I guess I'm just a mixed conservative mobster...

Do you suppose that the puppet masters started believing their own lies? Maybe they put him in office thinking he really was a great orator and a super genius who could charm the nation into doing whatever they wanted. If they are being forced to face the truth, that he is a former if not a current user of multiple drugs, of no better than average intelligence at best and incapable of operating a lemonade stand, let alone handling all the current problems, who knows what may happen. I think they precipitated the financial crisis shortly before the 2008 election and now things are out of control, there is no way to put the cat back in the bag, Soros may wind up crashing along with the rest of us. They are trying very hard to make us believe in the imaginary recovery that has all the solidity of quicksand.

Now, Barak. Let me give you some sage advice. Don’t trust your handlers, your image consultants, your kitchen cabinet. If you want to bring your approval rating back up, you have to GO WITH YOUR GUT! If you feel panicked, act it. If you feel angry, just open up your mouth, look away from the teleprompter, and spew out that venom like Vesuvius erupting. People like that. It’ll make you seem more human. Since I, above all people, have an interest in your ability to succeed, trust me. I have the nation’s best interests at heart. Sincerely, Yell R. Dogg Democrat (honest)

The thin-skinned narcissist will be destroyed by ridicule. If, and only if, some portion of the MSM turns on him.

Seeing how our side doesn't control the media, we can't get any widespread and penetrative ridicule of Bozo really going.

But, I think that we're accomplishing much the same end by continuing to publicly oppose Obama at public gatherings such as tea parties and Town Hall meetings.

The unrelenting level of public opposition to Obama's Socialistic plans from ordinary Americans is having a devastating affect on the whole upper level Democrat leadership, who can hardly catch their breath, and who have observably been thrown "off their game".

It's my view that our public displays of opposition are the thing that is causing the Socialists to stumble and retreat. We must keep this up, and even increase the frequency and size of these protests. They are working, folks.

I don’t think it will matter about training - just the shock value of a single tank firing on a crowd will dive the point home, not to mention a single B52 dropping its load over a point of resistance - I’m sure they could find enough trained personel in or out to work the thing.

Read "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross. The federal government could not continue to operate if most of its clerical and administrative employees quit. And they would quit if staying on made them the targets of tens of thousands of serial killers.

Alternately, rent the movie "The Battle of Algiers".

OK vaild assumptions - but who’se countining on assupmtions with that crawd in power? Not me.

But you seem to say 25% chance of elections and some mircoscopic percent of chance of fair elections. If so then. well sure - that’s what ACORN is for - a contingincy in case their plan takes longer than envisioned and crisies are not immediately in the cards.

Remember “Zippy the Pinhead” comics from the late 60’s?

Heh.

Aside from the permanent welfare class, blacks are getting just as economically antsy as everyone else.

Some of the welfare class have got to realize that the continuance of welfare is dependent on the Middle Class generating enough tax revenue to support it.

And this member of the Middle Class would vote to end welfare entirely if I ever got a candidate that would make it part of his platform.

“I vote for AK as the eventual winner, and recolonizer of the Lower 48 and Canada.”

Possibly, but they don’t have a lot of people.

I’ve met many in the mid-west and south. Grew up in Texas and Louisiana, graduated from LSU, and married a girl from Illinois. Salt of the earth people. And they have a ton of guns.
