Daily Presidential Tracking Poll -- 0bama now at -14!
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 23 August 2009 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 08/23/2009 6:35:52 AM PDT by ScottinVA

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. These figures mark the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President. The previous low of -12 was reached on July 30 (see trends).

Prior to today, the number who Strongly Approved of the President’s performance had never fallen below 29%. Some of the decline has come from within the President’s own party. Just 49% of Democrats offer such a positive assessment of the President at this time.

At the other end of the spectrum, today’s total for Strongly Disapprove matches the highest level yet recorded. The 41% mark was reached just once before and that came one week ago today. Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans now Strongly Disapprove along with 49% of those not affiliated with either major party.

Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.” Topics include health care, the deficit, stimulus package, state polls and more.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove.

It died out further when Zippy called out his troops to go after townhall protesters. The turnout was low and unenthusiastic and consisted largely of uninspired union goons.

If the Dhimmis are counting on that slimy crowd to furnish the foundation of their brownshirts, they’d better go back to the drafting board.

I think Paul Ryan is a good spokesman for the Congressional Republicans. Not exciting but is smart and articulate and actually offers alternatives to Dhimmi legislation.

Yes, a good part of that 48% is comprised of very stupid people. But another contingent is made up of politically unengaged folks who will bend over backwards to be “fair” to someone whom they perceive as occupying an office deserving of respect.

Very shortly, that group will get sick and tired of Hussein’s lies as well. He got in by tapping into the good will of the American people but that well is quickly running dry.

May the Lord have mercy on this country for turning away from reason, Israel and God. Maybe this crisis will bring people to their knees and force them to evaluate what is truly important in life.

I weep for this beautiful country.

I've said this to many before the election of this Saul. The minute our nation turns on Israel the slide begins. Lends credence to prophesy that the "whole world" will be against Israel. I also ask The Lord for mercy

I don’t see Hillary starying on as SoS past the end of this year. Then, I expect her to find an apartment in Iowa.

Calling Dear Leader Wee Wee and the rest of the Progressives "Marxists" is a bit too nebulous. Looking at the Marxism article Linked on THIS PAGE, will make that quite clear.

However, if you look at FASCISM linked there, you can EASILY see that these "Progressives" actually espouse and pursue methods and goals of the fascist movement very closely! The one thing they do NOT do is "fan the flames of nationalism" - in fact, they behave quite to the contrary in that respect. They espouse a "One-World Fascism".

If you look at the articles linked there about Communism and Socialism, you can see that the major differences between those two is the "One-World" aspect of Communism (so communism has never been practiced in the world.)

For this reason, I argue that the proper designation for Dear Leader and the "Progressives" political philosophy is "One World Fascism" or
CommuFascism

I synthesize these articles and I argue this in more detail in this post which I hope you'll take the time to look at.

Do you honestly think that only 3% of the non-black supporters are “looney whackos” who won’t admit they are wrong? I hope you are right, LS- but fear it is higher.

What I find interesting about this polls is that his core support is slipping. For quite awhile his core support has been around the 32% level in the strongly approve category. In this poll his core support has slipped to 27%. That is a big drop. IMHO he is in deep doodoo when his core base starts to abandon him.

How true...if they ram through Obamacare, we’ll need 67% of the seats in both houses of Congress with a Dhimmi in the White House. If the Dhimmis lose the White House in 2012 we’d have a chance to undo Zippy’s damage but that’s no sure thing.

Thanks for linking that Death of a Salesman article. Very good one by Barnes. I am quite surprised that Dear Leader’s administration hasn’t figured out his major problems.
