So, was the idea of his being born in Coast General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya always based on someone claiming to have seen the birth certificate we are looking at now, or was there some other basis for the claim such that the BC under discussion would be supporting evidence for that claim, assuming it is valid?

There are two places for signatures, one for Obama Sr. and one for an official. Both are blank.

The document is a 1964 certified copy of the an original 1961 birth certificate. The Deputy Registrar is certifying that the information contained in the copy is same as original, and, I would presume, that required signatures were present in original.

This Republic of Kenya title is then a key to authenticity. A forger would need do extensive historical research to determine when Kenyans started producing documents with the Republic of Kenya. If other documents from February of 1964 call it the Republic, then it is likely authentic. But if other contemporaneous documents refer to Kenya still as a colony, or something else, then it is probably fake.

Contemporaneous documents would be the best corroboration. But notice that this document is only No. 495, a pretty low number. My guess is that this is because the Registrar already had a shipment of the new "Republic" forms and had started using them in advance of the formal declaration of the Republic of Kenya.

The document is dated in 1961 and refers to "The Republic of Kenya". The Republic of Kenya did not come into existence until 1964. That is an indisputable fact. Find a way to explain that and I'll listen.

The document in question was issued in 1964. It is a COLB, not the original hospital document.

exactly and that should be easy enough for us or a forger to verify there also appears to be a form number at the top.

There also appears to be two black marks possibly wide spaced staple holes under 7s 6d. The lack of staple holes on Calif DL in the old days indicated an obvious fraud as they sent the DL's out stapled to another paper..there would either be no marks or black marks but no holes on the fakes..dont try that at home.

The court will not reject this filing, so it will be accepted when it is delivered. They will not act on it for at least another 45 days or so because of Orly leaving the country until August 27th, and allowing the President to respond to the subpoena that was issued with a 60 day time period back in July.

It may be weeks or months before this comes to court. The world will not bury this Document until it meets your standard of authenticity. Sorry.

Whoever validates or discredits this document must do so having the authentic document in hand. All it would take is a simple test of the paper to determine if it was circa 1964. If confirmed, everything else would fall in place.

There can not have been a reason to produce a forgery in 1964 for a three year old kid.

There is no need for them to be sealed. Obama didn’t respond. There was no contentious battle between the two.

It was an uncontested divorce.

So if it is, in fact, sealed....then there is something very interesting that someone is trying to hide.

The date of sealing the case might lead to some insight.
