So far online using Google, about the only sites that refer to Kenya being called “Dominion of Kenya” between Dec 12, 1963 and Dec. 12, 1964 are flag, coin, and Wikipedia sites. I’ve tried using my Lexis-Nexis connection to find the earliest dates of both “Dominion of Kenya” and “Republic of Kenya” but the site keeps crashing on me. I’ll try later at the lab.

That certificate is a joke. If you could read duthc yould know it. It saays among other things, that Obama will be President for another 3 and a half year. Get used to it. I knew it! And I can't even read Dutch.

How does the birth announcement in the Hawaiian newspaper tie into all of this? Born in Kenya and a birth announcement in Hawaii???????????????????????????
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
There is no conspiracy here, but two possible and very reasonable explanations:
1) The grandparents notified the newspapers to announce the birth of their new grandson. People do this all the time when there is a birth, death, marriage, or graduation of a loved one who resides out of town!
2) The grandparents filed for a COLB and the Hawaiian officials in a routine manner reported it to the newspapers.
By the way....Has anyone ever seen a paper copy of these newpaper announcements? Surely some proud parent stuffed one away in a baby book somewhere.

My point is that anyone can post a birth announcement in a newspaper anywhere. The paper doesn’t verify the facts, it’s just a social announcement, usually by proud parents. If I recall, we were asked while I was still in the hospital, if we wanted it printed in the local paper. That didn’t limit us, however, from putting it in our old hometown papers. I’m just saying that they are proof of nothing.

I think the e-bay seller was a joke/hoax.
This blank has been found. So did someone fill it in like the blogger admitted online to Obama's Hawaii birth certificate? Or is there a certified Kenyan copy?

And I thought we were just going to continue celebrating Retrokitten's birthday! We can do both. ;-)

Orly needs to have it authenticated by more than one forensic document examiner... Absolutely, she does. In fact, that will be demanded of all parties involved. This thing will likely go through more tests than the Shroud of Turin.
Now, if we could only do that with Obama's Hawaiian COLB...

When you zoom the document fully, every single text character is surrounded by a halo of pixellation.
I think Polarik has said in the past that this is clear evidence of digitized text being inserted onto a blank or erased background.
In this case, even the seal of Kenya is so digitized (if that's what this artefact is).

My original copy (the one my parents got at my birth) of my birth certificate was signed 5 days before I was born. It was just a typo, but gave me some problems even way back when. I eventually got a copy of my long form that is correct.

If you’ve got the chops to prove it one way or the other, please have at it and post your research and analysis.
The sooner this can be either debunked or verified, the better.

I don’t see how this benefits her. Biden would be President, not her. He could, of course, name her as VP. But how stupid is Biden? oh, wait...

There’s a half dozen explanations in this thread, by now.

I
would guess that team zer0bama will be bringing out the big guns with multiple experts declaring this to be a forgery within 5... 4... 3... This puts them in a position where they would have to prove it. It gives them the perfect opportunity to put this whole thing to rest by producing the original long form B.C. If they don't, it will only raise more questions about his legitimacy.
