Guess you heard that 68% of "the youth vote" went to Obama. My granddaughter called this morning to tell me she was one of them. I replied with this e-mail:
The election of Obama comes down to this. Your grandmother and I, your mother and other productive wage-earning taxpayers will have their taxes increased and that means less income. Less income means we will have to cut back on basic purchases, gifts and handouts.
That includes firing the Hispanic lady who cleans our house twice a month. She just lost her job. We can't afford her anymore.
What is the economic effect of Obama's election on you personally? Over the years, your grandmother and I have given you thousands of dollars in food, housing, cash, clothing, gifts, etc., etc.
By your vote, you have chosen another family over ours for help. So in the future, if you need assistance with your rent, money for gas, tires for your car, someone to bring you lunch, etc....call 202-456-1111. That's the telephone number for the Office of the President of the United States .
I'm sure Mr.Obama will be happy to send a check from his personal or business accounts or leave cash in an envelope taped to his front door.
It's like this. Those who vote for the president should consider what the impact of an election will be on the nation as a whole and not just be concerned with what they can get for themselves (welfare, etc.). What Obama voters don't seem to realize is that the government's money comes from taxes collected from taxpaying families. Raising taxes on productive people means they will have less money to spend on their families.
Congratulations on your choice. For future reference, you might attempt to add up all you've received from us, your mom, Mike's parents and others and compare it to what you expect to get over the next four years from Mr. Obama.
To congratulate Mr. Obama and to make sure you're on the list for handouts, write to:
The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW Washington , DC 20500
Love you, but call the number listed above when you need help.
Granddad
You didn’t say you’d take her bread, but that you couldn’t continue to provide the gravy to go on it. Nothing insidious or dishonoring about that.
oh brother... how do you know he's not of one of those families where parents enable their "adult chilren" to stay adult children all of their lives?--which, btw, does not demonstrate conservative values... that is why i was asking him and not you... i know all about family members helping family members... i come from a family of seven where i am number seven...
I understand what you are saying. You are tired of being the sugar daddy for people that are willing to destroy you as they are using you.
You wish your money to make a difference. (nodding) Got it.
Ping to this
When talking to an Obamunist family member,
they stated that they thought the mandatory “service” in the Give Act was a good idea.
Inherently, they said it was OK for someone to come take my kids out of my house at gunpoint, and to shoot me if I resist.
After thinking about it, I think I should ask this person if this is what she means. Libs always deny that their agenda is implemented at the point of a gun, so it would probably cause a brain-short.
You obviously didn’t get it. No surprise given the tone of this thread.
I still remember writing a letter to President Reagan when I was 16, complaining about liberal kids in my high school class!
if i didn't get it, it's because you weren't clear...
Not if the GOP has anything to say about it. I wish I were joking.
It's a pretty large club. It's easy to be idealistic when you don't know how anything really works.
oop, looks like AlBaby stuned your beeber
Did the Republicans really think that the young voters would vote for a candidate who was as old as or even older than their grandfather. When you were young, would you have voted for someone as old as your own grandfather? I don’t think so.
I did, I voted for Reagan and he was old enough to be my grandfather.
Yep. thanks for reiterating and understanding. :-).
A lot of my parents friends who usually voted Republican voted for Obama. When queried as to why they really couldn’t articulate a reason, just mumbled something about “health care” and “change”.
Wait until they realize that Obongo’s health care plan is to stick seniors like them out on an ice floe to die.

Let's add the USA Olypic hockey team in '80. I still remember those college kids running the Red Army players through the glass every time the pinkos even thought about going near the puck and the crowd chanting USA USA USA USA.
Still get chills.
I don’t get that either........I was always a conservative......never, ever voted for a dem.
I was little over 18 when my state made abortion legal.....I was horrified. Actually stunned when I heard.....always was a conservative.
