My 8 y/o daughter is appalled that she might be ‘forced’ to join ‘a club’ when she’s older that she doesn’t want to join!!
(Then she says, can we get Hillary back for president?? LOL)

I’m curious, are illegal aliens exempt from this, or could we get them to do the work that real Americans just won’t do? Cuts out the middleman!

I noticed that, it’s quite frightening. I knew Obama would be bad, but he has already exceeded my wildest tinfoil conspiracy theories. What will our country look like one year from now?

Right! And we should all note that they will be pushing us all “outside our comfort zones” in other words serving people whose agenda we do not support! I recall ms. O stating this in Puerto Rico.

Dangerous to say the least! This bill is so unconstitutional on so many levels it is staggering!

I am aware of it. I’ve contributed to it some...
I’m just thinking that it may be an even bigger job than I thought.

Just tell her she’s not going to be “forced” to do ANYTHING that daddy doesn’t want her to do.

This is one dad that’ll “put down” a few gov’t thugs when they come to enforce the mandatory voluntary service.

Michelle:
Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.

Any idea on the ages of these “young people”?

I just want to know if I’ll be forced into slavery and if I should plan on birthing any future children in other countries.

The way things are going, the Boy Scouts will be condemned by Congress for ‘hate crimes’ and ‘promoting intolerance’ and disbanded by law, forcing anyone in a uniform into a secret underground (remember the Wolverines in Red Dawn?)

Eagle Scouts will be viciously eradicated as being the worst of the worst offenders!!

/sarc (or is it prophesy?)
:-(

Interesting, tribes don’t pay taxes but will get money to servitude.

Tribes get tons of money from the federal government. I observed a local tribal member at Starbucks yesterday. He was wearing a black shirt with Obama's head/face adorned by a head dress. The text said, "Commander in Chief". "Yes we Can". "Yes We Did". The dumb ass is proud of voting for Commie Obammie. I hope he enjoys especially hard labor in his slave camp.

Perhaps, but it looks like they might try ‘forcing’ the elderly (55+) into mandatory service as well!!!

It had a specific meaning at one time, but now it seems Orwell’s 1984 lexicon is being invoked: voluntary = mandatory.

Nah, not Libertarian ... that's not the answer.

I suggest a Conservative party that is not adverse to endorsing Conservative Republicans. Let the Republican candidates come to the Conservatives for the endorsement and that core constituency. If not, oppose them in the primary. Caucus with the Republicans to form the majority in Congress.

“This is one dad that’ll “put down” a few gov’t thugs when they come to enforce the mandatory voluntary service.”

It won’t be that way—it’ll be more subtle. With the federal government continually expanding their reach, jobs, college, medical care.... Everything will be tied to “volunteer” service.
