I don’t know about the rest of you folks, but I’ve been following this bit of news from a local paper and in the blogosphere and I feel the need to do my part and pass on what's happening:
Controversy continues to surround President-elect Barack Obama's eligibility to serve as president, and a case involving his birth certificate waits for its day before the U.S. Supreme Court. A constitutional lawyer said were it to be discovered that Mr. Obama is not a natural-born U.S.citizen, it would have grave consequences for the nation.

I would think the lawyer is implying that any law that Obama had signed would be invalid. But I don’t know, am not a lawyer (and like to think I have trouble thinking like one.)
I’m starting to believe that this is an issue that will be raised when the level of discontent has grown. It’s not going away.

Agreed. IF we ignore the Constitution in this issue, we are opening the door to more and more like instances.
We must keep the heat on this issue. It is critical to the nation.

But not to the others. I think obama may have to disappoint his base before the BC issue really comes to light.
I think by now he has probably had a very good forgery put in place with the aid of some of his minions in Hawaii and if it is forced into the open, it will initially look valid and may pull off the ruse. He's already gotten this far by delaying and he may be able to get all the way through the term.
Could it have anything to do with setting a precedent that anything other than the original BC is not valid proof of birth record? Until I see an ORIGINAL he ain’t my president.
Just asking because I don’t know. I do know cert. copies w/ a state seal are used all the time for other purposes. I don’t think a copy should be good enough for the office of president.
I still think an upside down Zero sticker needs to be our sign of protest. Damn sure make it alot easier to distinguish between the “US” and “THEMS”. Politics ought to be a real scary biz to be in right now. If POLITICIANS are smart at all they will show by their actions if allied with “US-We The People” or “them- those that would like to see this country move futher along the path to socialism”

Everyone knows where their birth certificate is. Just produce the document and it is all over.
He can’t because it says Born in a hut in Kenya.
The issue may not be going away but for that matter it’s not going anywhere either.
As an usurper, everything he does or has done is deemed void, including his choosing the VP Biden as running mate. That is why it is a Constitutional crisis that most people are turning "blind" eyes toward???
Does Joe B. become the Pres with Nancy as VP?
I suppose the democrats would want to appoint a VP, as Nancy’s job is too important for the VP job. . Voting would not be needed. The Dems might lose.
What I found interesting is the picture of Zero’s Kenyan relatives, including his grandmother, in the Oval Office on Inauguation day.
My understanding is that the picture was just released, meaning that no one else (press included) was aware of their presence until they were long gone and back in Kenya, where the government refuses to let anyone ask any questions about their favorite son, Obama. And where his birthplace is a national monument, I read somewhere.
The Kenyan granny could no doubt be able to say ‘I saw him being born. I held him in the hospital (in Kenya) right after he was born’
And the visit to America was hidden until they (and Obama’s true birth story) were back under the protection of the Kenyan government.
The real atrocity here is not Obama per se, but the capablity of his enablers to control every aspect of his life history, to the point where no embarrassing secrets are leaked - and no truths, either. It is a remarkable feat that could not be accomplished without the willing help of a good many people.
This means that probably a lot of other things we are hearing ‘leaked’, like the camp business, the private police force, the plans to quell citizen uprising, may have more truth to them than I want to believe.
The machine that is the obama regime becomes more frightening every day.
I suspect that Nancy would go down too unless she accepted a deal to keep from going to prison. After all she signed a good many of the papers proclaiming Zero to be a valid candidate.
