Things are about to get very interesting. For one, I think Alaska should succeed and start drilling in ANWR the day after they do so. It would be a mini-Kuwait. I’d move there for sure.

There in language in Porkulus allowing the state legislatures to override those pesky governors.. I believe they have 45 days, and it’s a simple majority.

Isn’t it included in the “stimulus’ bill that the state legislature can override the Governor?
I don’t think this is a good idea. The media will convince the people of those states that they are being cheated. Afterall, the taxpayers of those states are still going to have to pay for this mess.
