Obama Born In The U.S. ? New Facts Say; “Probably Not!”

Let me be the first to admit that I have been a constant debunker of the “Obama Born Overseas” stories. How could it be possible? How could the DNC, Hillary, Edwards, the RNC, McCain, Romney, AP, BBC, ABC, FNC, etc, (and every 100th listing in the DC phone book) not have checked this out to its last level of possibility?

Well, it appears that they didn’t! Everyone assumed “the other guy did it.”

Forget for the moment all the clues left by the high-priced Obama and DNC legal teams. They are huge.

Obama and the DNC always argue “standing.” They could eliminate every legal challenge in 5 minutes by simply producing a certified copy of the original long-form birth certificate. Throw in the testimony of the Hawaii Registrar of Documents, a few retired FBI chief document examiners, and the doctor who delivered him for good measure.

If they did that in two or three courts of record, in light of the obvious media coverage it would receive, every other court nationwide would accept the precedence and the cases would all be over.

But they don’t. They keep telling the courts, “please don’t hear this case.” No proof of any kind. Just the legalese argument that the plaintiffs have no standing before that court.

That’s so overreaching, it’s like buying a refinery to get a 3000 mile oil change! And one day, some court is going to say…. “Show me the money, er,. ah, I mean, Show me the documents!”

But there is a second, and perhaps new point!

Where is that doctor who delivered him, or the midwife?

Stop and think. The delivery of a half Negro – half Caucasian baby was rare anyhere in 1961. Oriental babies were common in Hawaii of course, but a half Negro-half Caucasian baby with the funny name of Barrack Obama, in Hawaii? In 1961?

Even of you were a Republican, if you delivered a future President of the United States, wouldn’t you call some newspaper somewhere with your story. Or if you were the assistant obstetrician, or the anesthesiologist, or the scrub nurse?

What about the circulating nurse, or the pediatrician, one of a dozen nurses on the 24 hour-a-day shifts in the nursery, one of many nurses on the ward where Mrs. Obama would have stayed for three days, a records registrar, a technician of any kind, hell, even the janitor!

What about the clerks, ambulance drivers….. somebody ?!?!?!

Anybody ?!?!?!

Wouldn’t someone have been yelling their “credit” for this from the rooftops???? The date when he was born is (supposedly) known. Certainly all these (supposed) people would know where they were working then!

Where is somebody, anybody, who was there or even remembers the birth?

Well, you're right about HIPPA not being around in '61, because it didn't exist until 1996, but you're completely off base on the confidentiality issue.  No part of your personal medical records are a matter of public record period.  And HIPPA didn't invent privacy in medical records, it simply standardized it across all states.  I have 4 children and 8 grandchildren, 4 times I signed a release allowing the hospital to release a birth announcement, and 8 times I witnessed a similar document being signed covering my grand children.

No offense, and not saying Obama was born in the US, but I couldn’t tell you the name of the doctor who delivered me, nor the one who delivered my son. I sincerely doubt either of them would remember either of us by name and wouldn’t expect them to. That is, of course, assuming either is even still alive and, in the case of the doctor who delivered me, I would assume he is not.

None of them would speak if they were honoring their commitment to patient confidentiality. There also may not be that many people involved that are still living.

They'd be old, there was not nearly the level of "confidentiality" of medical records, especially the bare facts of someone's birth, in 1961. IN my hometown, they published the details in the newspaper. At least date, hospital, boy or girl, and parent(s) names, in fact they still do. I just checked online and they list one for Feb. 5, 2009, a girl born in the "other" hospital from the one I was born in, in... well never mind that. :) They did in Hawaii too, in 1961, less the hospital name.

The old nurses or doctors probably wouldn't think the mere fact of birth was private "confidential" information. And they probably wouldn't care about current polices on the issue. But many of them would just be gone, passed away. A nurse that was 21 in 1961 would be 68 or 69 now. Most would have been older than that, and the doctor definitely would be.

his sister says Obama was born at one of two hospitals in Hawaii(I forget the names)

Queen's Hospital and Kapiolani Medical Center.

Neither has any record of his birth.

...why don’t you post evidence that you’re a US citizen. In fact, why doesn’t everyone on this website do so.

Why the hell would we do that? None of us are running for POTUS -- yet. If and when one of us do decide to run I'm sure we would have no problem producing documentation for the only constitutional requirements to become POTUS.

I know, but the point is that he actually went through the trouble to obtain a new one when he already had an old one in his possession. That makes Zero sense - unless the old one that he had exposed something and new short form doesn’t.

Judging by the number of replies in such a short time, this subject has to been the hottest item on FR. Thanks for posting it. It has served as an excellent guide in genealogical research. Then there is the historical aspect regarding the past. I never thought I would know so much about American Presidential history. Even know about Chester Arthur the 21st President and his Irish born father.

That said, way way back even then, a Freeper (maybe a troll) said in relation to this subject "Please God make it stop". Another almost cried and asked for it "to stop,it please stop it". Like it is a bad toothache.

I know it is of paramount importance to Americans and I do not take the subject lightly. Again, I remember old David Frost was supposed to say to President Nixon. This on Watergate.

No David Frost myself, but I can do a good accent like his. I ask the same question of President Obama. He is not going to hear me. Where are the media? Where in the heck are they?

1961 was 48 years ago. No doctor will remember ANYBODY he delivered 48 years ago by name. Especially not a mixed-race child in Hawaii, which was as common then as it is now.

Some mixes, White-Hawaiian, White-Japanese, Japanese-Hawaiis. but not Negro-White. Not in 1961 Hawaii.

But even if one did not initially remember the name, when the name Barack Hussein Obama, came up, I think you'd say "oh yea, I kinda remember some name like that). So you might not remember some "Trashy white girl squeezing out a dark baby" names Leonard Franklin Slye (aka Roy Rodgers BTW) you probably would remember the more exotic "Barack Hussein Obama". Assuming you were reasonably young at the time and still had all your faculties now. 1961 was almost half a century ago after all.

This sort of gender normative terminology is not only insensitive, it is harmful to the transgendered community, in particular the transgendered minority community.

Just to give you a friendly warning (one time only) it is also illegal under the new EEOC Regulations put in place by Barack Hussein Obama's Administration.

As a rebuttal I’ll note that hospital staff is A-OK in informing people such as photogs, your local paper and baby-formula companies about your childs birth with no authorization from you.. Why would this be different? We’re not talking about disclosing medical info.

Hawaii has always been a big lib state ,, if ANYONE there was connected to his birth it would be known.

If there was irrefutable evidence to show he was born in Hawaii the press would ask the question just to “clear the decks” .. but they never will....

I remember that, and IIRC the doctor that this teacher talked to never even delivered him.

I’m lucky if I can remember the exact details of a conversation I had 2 days ago, so I agree that the whole story was fishy at best.

I just thought you’d like to know that that Obama created his COLB in 2007 roughly the same time that McCain was being questioned about his birth certificate...

In 2004 when he was using the sealed divorce records of Jack Ryan to destroy his chances in that election, he had created a marriage certificate in that year despite the fact that he was actually married in 1992, and has recently created yet another one for this election in 2008.

Now either Obama is very sloppy with his own personal papers or he has the need to reproduce them when ever he is running for office.
