A new lawsuit is challenging Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, and this one targets Congress as a defendant for its "failure" to uphold the constitutional demand to make sure Obama qualified before approving the Electoral College vote that actually designated him as the occupant of the Oval Office.

The new case raises many of the same arguments as dozens of other cases that have flooded into courtrooms around the nation since the November election.

It is being brought on behalf of Charles F. Kerchner Jr., Lowell T. Patterson, Darrell James Lenormand and Donald H. Nelson Jr. and names as defendants Barack Hussein Obama II, the U.S., Congress, the Senate, House of Representatives and former Vice President Dick Cheney along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

As WND has reported, dozens of lawsuits have been filed over Obama's eligibility to assume the office of the president. Many have been dismissed while others remain pending.

The cases, in various ways, have alleged Obama does not meet the "natural born citizen" clause of the U.S. Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, which reads, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

I will have to disagree with you. Where is Obama’s original birth certificate? When someone hides soemthing, they have something to hide. We need Obama’s birth certificate, passports and school records subpoened for examination by authorities. I believe that it can be proven that Obama’s COLB is a forgery.

Just last month I had to request my own birth certificate from California and they automatically sent me the long form version. With attending physician's signature. It is a copy of the original from microfiche that is printed on modern paper, with a raised seal and sig of county recorder.

Most pros would have the grace to acknowledge (as I believe you have) that there is (my words here) an indication of a seal on the dailyKOS image (2427x2369, 520 kb version). Anyone here can look at that image (100% magnification) and find it, now that they know where to look. Why not just say so? Why leave your supporters and detractors something to be divided on?

I completely understand putting a lot of work into a project, and then not wanting to entertain requests afterward. I myself am very much a "here it is, take it or leave it" kind of person. If I release something free to the world, I don't want people coming back with their personal wish lists or special requests on how that release could be better tailored to their needs.

I understand you did your work on your own time. Nobody would expect journal-publication quality word-crafting for a project like you undertook. Nobody would expect an error-free analysis. That said, your report has a number of rough spots. Some of that may just be omission of explanation... but how does one distinguish such omissions from errors in reason?

You collected a lot of ground-truth information on actual physical documents, and made us aware of seal changes and things like that. I suspect that that will be the biggest contribution, in the end, rather than any specific claims of image manipulation, but who knows.

On the other hand... I have always prided myself as a dragon slayer. And your points (3) and (4) were hotly spoken. I am really NOT interested in diving into the COLB verification business. I would like nothing more than to turn my attention to other matters. I also believe that there is little more to be gained from the digital image authenticity argument, beyond what has been done, except to keep embarrassments to a minimum. But, all said and done, I think that I would be hesitant to call as a witness someone who talks as hotly as you write.

Yea, it would, at least the "place of birth question". That is if it was a paper copy, with a raised seal that could be examined. With paper that could be examined and so forth. But it's not, it's image which shows evidence of having been manipulated.

No he wasn't. It was alleged that he was not born in the US. This image was posted in response to that allegation. The image posted did have a seal, at least to the naked eye, and yet when it was allegedly photographed in response to that observation, why there is the seal. A perfect circle, when from the angle of the paper, it should appear as an ellipse. Oh and the second fold, another critique of what was originally posted was that it was not visible, also appears. Right through the "seal".

That is the way it works for the rest of us, regarding place and date of birth. Usually requires a picture ID and sometimes even a thumbprint.

Mlo, You are NOT a lawyer. The lawyer in my house says that no judge will accept the document his lawyer presented as evidence. Any judge will only accept a document that has not been both certified, but presented to the court by an officer of the court.....

The reason that OB's lawyer only presented it as an asterisk was to establish a loophole for his own malfeasance.

In general no, but the State Department stated back when the passport records of Clinton, McCain and Obama were "improperly accessed", that they do not maintain such travel records, only the applications for the passport. Of course those would contain birth information, which would have been verified by a certified copy of the person's birth certificate, or other documentation of birth or naturalization.

While there might be evidence that is produced, the evidence will have to be given to the House of Representatives, for a vote as to whether they want to institution Impeachment proceedings. I don’t quite see that happening with this Democrat Congress...

Besides that, as we saw with Clinton, even if an Impeachment were to go through, even with *solid evidence* (against Clinton, from a court of law, concerning that court) — still — the “Conviction” was not done, but instead, a “Not Guilty”.

Thus, I would guess the same kind of result, if it ever got that far, in the first place...
