As reported on another thread:
"Major Garrett reports from Hawaii 10 minutes ago that David Axelrod the Campaign Manager for Barack Obama says as of this morning the campaign had a meeting in Chicago and according to internal numbers they have "a clear road to victory holding all Kerry states while picking up Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Nevada and Virginia with an excellent shot at Montana, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Indiana."
They are saying they will get to 400 EV's election night."
And I just heard through the grapevine yesterday that McCain-Palin are needing grassroots support in battleground states like Nevada, Montana, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, etc.
Can you imagine conservative Republican states going for Obama? No, and neither can I. Obama has the money, the press and the resources. McCain-Palin has the grassroots. It's time for the grassroots to scramble to action!
Grassroots? That's us! Time for all Free Republic chapters and members to visit or call the closest McCain-Palin or Republican headquarters, grab some signs, man the phones, walk the precincts, join rallies, spread the word! Don't let Obama and ACORN steal the election!! Get in their faces!!
We did it in 2000 and 2004, we can do it again in 2008!!
Go to work FReepers and Lurkers!! Get out the VOTE!!
I received my ballot in yesterday’s mail.
Again, I thank each of you for your comments. Especially yours, cgk. I did think about them when marking my ballot.
It’s unfortunate that Virginia is in the position of potentially deciding the Presidential election. I would have much preferred to vote in a firmly decided state so I could vote for a third party conservative with a clear conscience.
But that’s not the way it salted out. I’m in a so-called battleground state. And as such, I’ll be damned if I’m going to assist the political aspirations of a socialist alinskyite, either directly or indirectly.
So I voted for Gov. Palin and the liberal Republican she’s sharing the ticket with.
Good for you...and thank you!
Bump~
So where’s the good one? ;-)
ANOTHER rowdy conservative lady!
Love it!
GO SARAH!
But she is on the ticket, and you can be assured that Sarah Palin won't just fade into the background if elected. She'll revolutionize the role of Vice President. Then, after McCain's term(s) are up YOU can feel good about helping Sarah Palin on her steppingstone to the Oval Office.
Now I know that you're a sweet and thoughtful young lady, Terriegal, so at least think it over.
Strong Conservative women are not going to take it any more — Doom and gloomer, sky is falling crowd need to watch out as our gloves are off!
Sarah has fired us up!
That is refreshing to hear!
I was in a mtg at work last week and a man interjected with a remark about Obama, (why I don't know). After which, his and my supervisor looked at me and said, "and we know who you're voting for". To the room I spoke up, "yes, I'm voting for Sarah Palin and I strongly urge everyone elso to do likewise". Of course a couple of giggles could be heard, but I dismiss these as typical of anyone who would take Sarah Palin lightly.
Then last night, two black coworkers chided me about an image of Sarah (one had on his cell phone) 'working to get the black vote'. Others seated near, who had seen it, advised me not to bother with it as it depicted Sarah in a pornographic action. I just looked at the two fellas and said, "I'd expect nothing less, or hideous, from a pair of Obama supporters, and we'll see if you're still laughing it up on Nov 5th".
What I wanted to do, but don't have it handy, is to have taken out a picture of Sarah holding little Trig; telling the two clowns, "this is the only image I need of this remarkable lady".
I will be more than happy, and proud, in helping Sarah break that glass ceiling.
WOW! Sounds like a bunch of jerks!
You are so right that we are gong to help Sarah break that glass ceiling!
Thank you for the welcome, sweetiepiezer.
Thank you! :)
You’re welcome!
Save an iceberg for me should I need one...
:)
You betcha!
I'm also mighty fed up with this race junk. Sheesh, we're ALL AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!
I am going to the McCain rally tomorrow and need a slogan for a sign. Any ideas?
Also, we have been working for this ticket since Sarah was announced: prayer, making phone calls, door to door, putting out signs, volunteering at HQ and more. Please pray for all the volunteers in Ohio.
“Memo to Dems
All of you can just stay home. You have this election in the bag.”
Wouldn’t it be cool if they got that message from all the MSM poll fixing and really did stay home.
Bump. Precinct packages on hand and ready to be distributed.
“Save an iceberg for me should I need one...”
Haven’t you heard? The icebergs are melting, polar bears are dying, and because of gorebull warming, Alaska is becoming the new Hawaii. And the -18 we had the other morning was surely just an illusion. ;)
What lousy attitude? And what is a "conservative independent?" Al Rantel, a local radio host, describes himself likewise and he is voting for Obama.
Whatever you call yourself, I guess you think my enthusiasm for this ticket and optimism that we can win is a lousy attitude.... well, all I can say is I like my lousy attitude.
:-)
poor bears! Sniff
:)
