-snip On Oct. 2, 1998, 10 years ago today, at the height of the Lewinsky scandal, my sister and I traveled to Center City to protest Bill Clinton during one of his numerous presidential visits to the area. Little did we know that the Teamsters Union would be present to intimidate and harass us at every turn - --snip-- After a quick verbal exchange, an old-style Molly McGuire Union Boss, John Morris, rammed a fedora over my face, blinding me to the onslaught of Teamsters who would proceed to knock my sister and I to the ground. Once we were down, they pummeled us. If my sister hadn't protected my head from some of blows, I don't know if I'd still be alive.

Thugs for Clinton Skate [90s]
In the aftermath of the highly publicized beating, District Attorney Lynne Abraham prosecuted me on trumped up charges that I had hit two Teamster women - despite exculpatory police statements and news video evidence.
Incredible.
Thx
Teri, thanks for this ping—and yes, I was on the original ping.
But I never mind getting double-pinged when it comes to you or Don!
The word “hero” has lost its meaning today, but to me, you and Don are heroes in the original sense of the word.
I wince every time I read about what happened to you and Don that day. I remember all of the legal struggles you endured—and the many injustices suffered at the hands of the corrupt Philadelphia machine.
But you and Don endured. They did not expect that of you.
And you proved them wrong.
We know that true justice does not exist on Earth—but it is guaranteed to us by Him who defines justice because He alone is just.
I hope that some sense can be made of this decade in your lives, if only to know that you are admired greatly and intensely respected for your resilience, courage, and fortitude in the face of great injustice.
You were an example of what righteousness endures in the face of evil.
I wish uncountable blessings on you both.
Hard to believe it has been 10 years!
Great! I look forward to hearing back from you.
You’ve got FRmail! : )
Budge, thank you for your support time and again throughout the years. It is the most meaningful coming from ordinary yet extraordinary people like you! So good to “see” you! ((((Hugs))))
Exit,
You have a wonderful and remarkable way with words, as do many on this board. I marvel every time I read one of your posts. We thank you and people like you who stayed at our side for the past ten years. Unfortuantely, that is what it takes. We must remain at the side of one another until the job is done. No single human being can fight those on the left who would destroy our beloved country and the good people in it, on their own.
Incidentally, we just want to be known as people who stood up to the thugs and bullies of the left, when it counted. That is all. How good it is to see so many conservatives, like yourself, doing the same, many right here on this board. We must stick together, or we shall surely fail.
Thank you my friend, for taking a few moments to write another precious post. ((((Hugs))))
Keep up the good fight. We are right an NO amount of intimidation will work. Remember that fear is the path to defeat. I don’t like to lose so I will not fear anything.
Mike
Mike, with all due respect, I don’t think it’s realistic that people don’t fear anything. But people can’t allow fear, to take over and control their lives. They’ve got to face their fears and proceed and do what’s right, despite them.
Jeepers...
Amen, amom! Teri, I am honored to be your FRiend.
They will either vote for McCain, or say they voted for Obama, but in fact stayed home.
Union men don't have anything in common with Obama the elitist. He's never got his hands dirty doing anything. Quite a few of them are ex or retired military. They know he's a jive-talking lawyer. They have his number. Obama has all but said the blue-collar (guns and religion) vote isn't good enough for him, anyway. The union guys reason, guess Obama can do without my vote.
Imagine if McCain had said a thing like that...the MSM would still be howling about what a snotrag he was up to Election Day.
Aw, you made me blush.
Awww...shucks. I feel the same way about you! The honor is all mine, my FRiend. (((Hugs)))
When they wake up from the giant Obama drunk, they're going to be SO hung over, and horrified that they arc-welded their own chains to the galley oars of Obama's new "ship of state".
"What do you mean you're confiscating my retirement for the poor?"
"What happened to the tax cut you promised us? The $1000 you gave us got eaten by the $4000 tax increase from the expiring Bush tax cuts?!!??!"
Thanks for the ping!
Boy, getting in a rage like that is unhealthy easily causing a heart attack....
They have been trying to make Conservatives the new smokers.
It won’t work.
Ping to She Lion, fighter of the fight.
She would have adored Sarah.
:-)
