Rush reports that a Cessna has been reported as crashing into (at least one) apartment complex in NYC Mannhattan's upper east side - on East 71st Street.
he didn't say "so" black, did he?
..why fighter planes over major cities?....is that true?....or is it just CNN.
Because it pisses off Liberals.
They're not sure what it is despite the MSM attempt to play it down. It's a defensive move made for an "unknown" situation. MSM acts like they "know" it was just an accident.
I was actually thinking FOX was doing an okay job with this. Don't ever quote me about this but Shep isn't being hysterical and they are trying to get facts out. My least favorite anchor, John Scott, is actually very informative and being very logical about the circumstances as presented.
I turned on CNN and they are going bonkers over there just wishing it was terrorism.

Could be because we are less then an hour into this event and they haven't even identified the parts of whatever it was yet.
Does anyone remember the small Cessna type plane that crashed into a building in Miami a couple years ago? that guy did it on purpose and was depressedand suicidal. That story disappeared and if this wasn't NYC this story wouldn't be getting as much press, but after 9-11, it's sure understandable everyone being goosey about planes hitting buildings. This looks like an accident though based on first hand accounts and the fact it hit a relatively short apartment building, which would be mostly empty during the day, instead of hitting a tall skyscraper like the Empire State or Chrysler Building, which would be mostly full in early afternoon. And those buildings are impossible to miss. This smells like an accident or suicide or pilot mid-air death or something.
What the news outlets should be saying is "we have absolutely no reason to believe that that this is NOT an act of Islamic terrorism."
I just heard planes frying from the West... going east.
Is that why CNN is reporting that NoRad has scrambled jets?

The 20th floor was struck. Firefighters and medics are working to rescue people trapped in the building by flames and heavy smoke. Debris Gracie hospital is on alert for casualties. Panic strikes the streets of this part of Manhattan.
US intelligence officials say initially there is no reason to believe the crash was terrorism-related.
