Just heard a reporter say "it was a fixed wing chopper".Great, first a plane, then a helicopter, back to a plane, and now it's a flying motorcycle.
Maybe it's a rotary fixed wing dirigible.

Fox has always been awful regarding aviation. Just terrible. I would work for them for free just to help them get their facts in order.
But, you are not exactly right either.
A stall is a disruption of airflow over a surface sufficient to disturb lift. Sorry to nitpick.

Mets are playing Game 1 tonight at Shea Stadium in Flushing.
I think the authorities should have a few planes in the air during the game, just in case.

Yes, at this point probably anything the gov't says I will entertain some doubt, and I will continue to have some small suspicion it was terrorism.
And I don't think that constitutes anywhere near the nutiness level required of liberals to believe that George Bush blew up the World Trade Center.
It's just on completely different levels of nutiness....!

"Well, Shepard Smith just said "there's absolutely nothing to indicate that this was terrorism."
Thanks, Shep, for your insight. /sarcasm"
Honestly, when is FOX going to take this moron off the air?
To: GOPJ; All
FWIW, Fox is such a miserable network when it comes to covering breaking stories that I wonder why they even bother.
Their coverage of the post-Katrina scene in New Orleans last year was so amateurish it was embarrassing to watch. I'm sure we'll see this "live, up-to-date photo" on their website any minute now . . .

Currently, local news from NYC on Philly news is saying that it is either a 2-4 seater "fixed wing aircraft". Studio reporter just asked "What on earth was a small plane doing flying BETWEEN buildings??" Reporter on scene's response: "Good question... "

Just a theory. Or, could it be that first reports are always wrong?

FDNY reports people are trapped on floors above where the plane crashed.
FAA reports a temporary flight restriction has been placed around this section of NYC - probably just affecting helicopter traffic.

Why can't these people just find out who was flying the damn thing. I want to know the id of the pilot.
To: montag813
Yes, like those radical Amish she defended when declaring no1 should have guns, but the week before offended by saying Christians are real security threats.
