Rush reports that a Cessna has been reported as crashing into (at least one) apartment complex in NYC Mannhattan's upper east side - on East 71st Street.

New Yorkers might remember that eerie incident about 10-15 years ago in which a traffic helicopter crashed in the river (I don't remember if it was the Hudson River or the East River) while the traffic reporter was on the air live.

Everyone on CNN now talking about a small, multi-engine plane. This is per FAA. It does not appear to be a helicopter. NORAD saying they were not tracking this aircraft, fwiw.

In my experience, multi engine small aircraft do not hit buildings dead center on accident.

I may be wrong but I sincerely doubt it.

I does not add up.

It was not a helo BTW, NYC Police reporting multi engine small plane. Not a chopper.
