Just had pictures of the bus on Fox. It is a burned out hulk. At least one death. Some speculation that oxygen on the bus was the culprit.

I don't know why they are using the word "explode". From what I see in TV the bus is burned but not blown up.

or some one smoking near the oxygen. There also needed to be something to explode. Oxygen needs some fuel to actually combust.

It appears to have been a charter bus of elderly evacuees from Houston... there have been reports of two explosions and then it erupted into flames. I-45 into Dallas is completely shut down and the back-up now goes 17 to 20 miles.
Multiple deaths reported.

Any thing that can burn will burn much faster in a enriched Oxygen environment.

Pictures indicate the bus was "burned" not blownup, oxygen DOES NOT explode, it only aids the fire's burning process, as in if there is no oxygen there is no fire.

FoxNews showing it.
Bus apparently exploded earlier. Fire is out now.
Bus was carrying elderly people.
Latest report says oxygen tanks (used by some of the elderly) may have 'contributed' to the explosion.
There are fatalities.
N and S lanes of I-45 are closed.

They speculated on FOX that the bus wrecked, caught fire, then exploded. If that scenario is true, fire mixed with oxygen would indeed explode.

OMG, that is so sad, those elderly folks wouldn't stand a chance of jumping off a burning bus. How tragic.

That isn't too far from me----so sad---they are saying multiple fatalities...
If it was exploding oxygen tanks...with the fire I saw..and being elderly people as reported...I wouldn't think that bodes well..
Dallas does have one of the countries best burn units...but dang, these people were evacuating to safety...and now this...
I am really praying that a lot of people are okay!
