"Did he or did he not kill a woman at Chappaquiddic" Ann Coulter

On Hannity and Colmes, While discussing the requirements of a Supreme Court nominee, Ann just sarcastically noted that it was ok to kill a girl at Chappiquiddic. Colmes said that was a low blow and that comment was below her.

WHY??? WHAT is so darned SACRED about mentioning the truth???

Ann said, "Why..."

Colmes didn't answer, and the set was quiet.

Hannity and Reagan (another guest) should have spoken up.

This is another example of "The Emperor is NAKED!"

Don't you mean a long ride on a short bridge? Heh, heh.

The most shocking thing about this, (thanks to the guy who posted the video), is the reaction from Sean H. And the look on Coulter's face after she said it.
She acted like she had broken an "unwritten" law or something and she knew she would pay for it big time. And Sean backed off like he was facing a rattlesnake.
This really points to the distinct possibility that FNC has some kind of gag order regarding the fat murderer.

All in all, very disappointing.

Does Ann C. have a blog or something? I wonder if she will post some kind of follow up on this...

"To repeatedly attack and accuse him years on end over a tragic accident is cheap and low IMHO."

The fat bastard never paid any legal or political consequences for killing that poor woman which was a crime not a "tragic accident" as you put it. If it had been anyone else, he would have done time. Accordingly, it is entirely appropriate to continue to "attack and accuse" him and in my less than humble opinion the SOB should be hounded to his grave with reminders of that crime.

I have to absolutely disagree with you here Jorge. This man sits in judgment of various judicial appointees and has repeatedly dug up or fabricated things in their past. Remember the great tub saying "even the hint of inappropriate behaviour" should disqualify a candidate" for a judicial position.

I would not be surprised if this was Ann's last appearance on FNC.
I don't see why, unless Kennedy arranges for her to take a short ride on a long bridge.
Because she exposed Hannity and Colmes as the bland empty suits they really are.

Nonsense. I know people who accidently killed others in their car, or with their car. They are not in jail but their hearts are broken. I find it almost demonic that others would ever use such a tragedy to torment them with the memory of it

Were they drunk, did they leave the scene for 12 hours?

Did they stand up and take the consequences, or pay off officials to get a 30 day suspension?

Do they sit on the Senate Ethics Committee?

Do they attack and belittle people publically over the airwaves?

Were they involved in a rape later?

In most jurisdictions, this "tragic accident" is called vehicular homicide, since it was the direct result of drunk driving.

DUmmies mention Laura Bush's fatal accident as a teenager, more than Freepers mention Ted Kennedy's murder while a US Senator.

It's settled law.

By whom? The kennedy cabal? After his actions at Chappaquidic, teddy has never had the right to sit in judgement of others.

And it's just that, you humble opinion. The "accident" itself aside, what bothers many people about ole teddy's actions that night were this: He abandoned that poor woman in her watery grave while he took the rest of the night to go to a hotel, clean up, and call his lawyers.

You are wrong, teddy's actions that night needs to be remembered and repeated.

he also challenged reagan about who decided what made a 'good' catholic.

Does Colmes know that there is a Pope, and that he has a Boss? LOL. Who decides, indeed.

And she was probably still alive when he left her to drown.

Read, Senatorial Privilege.

Great book. The younger generation should read it as well.

Oh really? Did you know that Mary Jo was found in full rigor mortis, seated position with her hands outstretched and fingers clenched like she was holding herself upright in the car's air bubble? Did you know that when they first pulled her out of the car there was very little actual water in her lungs (less than a teacup full) indicating death by suffocation, not drowning.

The Murdering Senator from Massachusettes, ran off and left her and waited HOURS to report the crime, in fact had to be almost forced to report it. He went to bed, showered, got up and was socializing when they pulled the car out of the water.

He ought to be put on trial as there is no statute of limitations on murder.

It actually HURTS to think that these elected officials, people (immoral and totally un-statesmanlike) such as ted kennedy, patrick leahy (didn't he leak CIA info that caused the DEATH of an agent?), durbin (who compares our war efforts to the Nazi's), klinton (who held up a newspaper saying 'Bush Knew' -before the 9-11 attack that it was going to happen, ON THE SENATE FLOOR), etc., etc., ETC., are going to advise and consent ON ANY SUPREME COURT NOMINEE.

It is like going into a kindergarten classroom, composed of budding sociopaths, and asking them to vote on the classroom rules.

Absolutely.

He left a woman to drown in what was it, four feet of water?

He could have STOOD and attempted to break the window, whatever, he apparently got out just fine.

And why wait to notify help? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Takes TIME TO WEAR OFF A STATE OF DRUNKENESS! And even more time to get your story straight. Wonder if those he contacted first are still breathing.

I cannot even LOOK at him and not see a MURDERER.

Nobody is blaming him for driving off the bridge. Drunk driving can and does happen to a lot of people regardless of politics and people of shallow moral character exist on all sides. If that were all this involved, we could leave it there.

BUT, it's what he did and did NOT do following the accident that defines his character.

And THAT's why this is an issue.

She tends (or maybe pretends) to view those of us who believe Foster was murdered as looneys.

And further, a statue needs to be erected in her memory. For if it were not for Chappaquiddic, teddy probably would have been elected President.
