Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people
Don't forget many are in it just for the money and adulation. I see this from many in the volunteer sector as well. Ideology and the cause means nothing to them, the promotion of self does.
:^D
Can we deport all of our FRetards to The Sean?
sorry, beat you too it. :)
Wrong. ANY scientist will tell you that the burden of proof is on the one who aims to prove a positive fact. It is logically impossible to prove a negative; challenging someone to do so either shows a serious deficiency in basic reasoning skills or demonstrates an intent to debate dishonestly. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but you still need to take Logic 101.
Scientists have presented data on changing ocean currents, on CO2 levels, on changes in animal migrations and plankton levels, and so forth. Those who deny global warming aren't presenting data to rebut these claims, or aren't doing so in enough numbers to convincingly put the issue to rest. The least we can say is that the jury is still out.
Those who dispute the hypothesis of man-made global warming have presented plenty of evidence that rebuts these claims. Historical variation in solar radiation, for example; also statistical analysis of the "hockey stick" chart shows that the basic theory of man-made global warming - dependent on assumptions derived from that chart - is ridiculous. Furthermore, it is beyond plausible to suggest that until we started burning fossil fuels, there was no change in ocean currents, CO2 levels, migration patterns, or anything else.
The world is in constant flux; global temperatures have gone up and down since the beginning. It does not follow to say that because ocean currents and CO2 levels change, that it is man who is causing it. Any study of the data shows the opposite - that the world will warm and cool regardless of human activity on its surface.
Where's the evidence showing that known factors that have historically led to global temperature changes (in the absence of human activity) are not sufficient to explain the current rise in temperature?
"I've lurked here forever"
That was what I thinking, with your 3 day old screen name I figured you must have been. Welcome.... officially that is... ;)
Dave
Still no apology from Hannity. Nor evidence to back up his claim. F-ing coward.
...we all knew this already, didn't we?
LOL!
...on a Digital Raft...lol
Back in my day the first lesson learned in geometry was:
It is impossiible to prove a negative.
It was pounded into us over & over again (What can I say: we were 10th graders. facts didn't always stick.) I was never great in math, but I have never forgotten that, as it applies to so many aspects of our lives.
Dumbing down America has done wonders for the media as it helps them lead the masses. Case in point:
"President Bush to this day has offered no proof he was not AWOL."
Because very few people know this simple fact it is so easy to manipulate the masses. The game is get the accusation out there put the burden of proving the negative on the subject.
He (The Sean) already, according to reports, has one insane former FReeper (Todd-TLBSHOW) as a MODERATOR...bwahahahahahaaaa!
LOL! Todd as a moderator?!! Yer jesting!
At first I like Hannity's Humility also. Then just after the election out of the blue, it sounded canned, fake or just plain phony.
For example, his kicking and crying about wearing a tux to the inaugural balls.
Hannity is saying he felt uncomfortable in tux.
"I don't wear a tux" or "I don't even own a tux." BS like that.
Give me a break, any man who works in the entertainment business, in with the "all powerful elite" Capitol Hill crowd (like Hannity's bosom buddy "comman man" Tim Russert) or even a guy in the restaurant business in Washington DC has a stinking tux in the closet.
Look he was trying to hard to come off as this common guy who is the luckiest man in the world routine about even attending an inaugural ball.
I know I'm going on about this tux thing but Hannity wouldn't STFU about it.
After 5 minutes of this kicking and stomping it's all about little old me and adding "my wife isn't going with me" story on top of it. That was the day for me, Hannity's Humility was an act.
Hannity is a grown mature adult speaking on national radio about his wardrobe problems.
He sounded so desperate, I was going to call in Queer Eye to try to rescues Hannity out of his fashion dilemma.
Like I said before, 65% of his show is OK. Be he can stink up the place in a hurry sometimes.
Today's show could be fun.
If Hannity has Humility he would apologize directly to Jim Robinson in the first 5 minutes of his show and display some good old fashion respect for a fellow republican who had the courage to be a leader in the so called new media when their wasn't a so called new media.
Yes, that is what I heard.
TLBSHOW, whom I voted most likely to Really Embarass Conservatives (REC) with an outrageously stupid act of fanaticism...Todd.
Somewhere in this thread there's a LP post where Todd is mirroring this thread.
Yes, he's escaped the loony bin and is def. not taking his meds.
Please report back if he does.
I'm avoiding his show and informing the station manager where it's carried that I am pulling our advertising.
The Sean will never darken my computer or radio again.
He was just another disgruntled, GOP Kool-Aid guzzling, FROBL American Traitor and has now given us the opportunity to let him go. Going, going, gone...
