I've notice a few FReepers have ZERO sense of humor, mostly in the Fundamentalist Christian realm....don't let it drag your efforts down.....Kuck Ferry!

Let's start again:

You INITIALLY made the statement that "The majority of scientists believe global warming is real".

I asked for proof.

I await that proof.

I haven't been listening to Sean's radio show the last few weeks (or the H&C on FOX News).

I used to listen an hour or two many days and I remember he was always PLEADING for folks to listen/SUPPORT the radio show for THREE HOURS. Looks like he'll have fewer listeners as a result of his FR bashing, eh??

That's what I'm talking about. Many people here attack FReepers personally. Their personal attacks are no different than we hear from the left!

Keep on postin'

Also, Ruckus, you keep talking about a "consensus"...keep in mind that 30 years ago the environmentalists/scientists claimed there was GLOBAL COOLING.

As I said before, at the heart of this "environmental movement" is socialism. The left uses it to move forward with their goal of the abolition of private property (in the communist manifesto). In WA, they are pushing a 65/10 law which says you cannot build on more than 10% of YOUR LAND.

All I hear from the left is how America and corporations are the "problem", yet you don't hear a peep out of them regarding China. China is the worldwide leader in mercury pollution.

If environmentalist groups like ELF and others are so "concerned" about the environment, why do they pollute when making a "political statement"? For example, they burn down apartment complexes and housing developments in California. Think of all the different materials on fire and releasing toxins into the air. They also have destroyed Hummers, and set those on fire. I would say that when the rubber on the tires is aflame, that releases toxins into the air as well.

On top of that consider the Kennedys and their opposition to wind farms in cape cod. If they were as concerned about the environment as they pretend to be, they wouldn't have filed suit to stop the construction. The Kennedys and the Ariana Huffingtons of the world also travel in private jets which consume VAST amounts of fuel. Guess they're only concerned with the pollution that YOU generate.

"Their personal attacks are no different than we hear from the left!"

This wasn't an attack, it was character assassination,
and it came fro a paid GOP consultant!
He admitted he was paid to provide the GOP data.

"...and also told
I should get out of the house and "get a life" because all I do is sit at my keyboard."

I know he DOES NOT represent the GOP in total
BUT it makes me realize just why I am an Independent.

Show me where I said everyone that is against pollution is a Nazi. Liberals are so stupid, they always say "I'm FOR the environment". WHO THE HELL ISN'T? My point is, the media and these fraudulent pointy headed academics have blown this global warming thing WAY out of proportion.

Please address the rest of my points. It seems as though you're trying to take a few statements and blow them out of proportion to disqualify any further argument.....

I am very sorry to hear Sean say these things. I'm about as fringeless as they come. He shouldn't step on the very people that could/should be his following. But I'm also a very loyal person and that's why I listen to Rush every day for 14-15 years. Rush is upbeat always even though he does take people to task for their positions. He also doesn't beat one subject to death for 3 hours as a certain Michael Savage does. Savage is the complete opposite of Rush and I can't take him. I listen every once in a while and it might last for 15 minutes. And for Mark Levin, I adore him. He says all the things I believe too but he's caustic as Savage but he has a positive attitude about our country that Savage lacks.

Back to Hannity, he'd better work on uniting his following, rather than dividing it (talk about eating your own).

Hannity is a lightweight! He just parrots "talking points" which is no different than what he accuses Libs of doing. Freepers should floood his public appearances

Well Tonk, I appreciate your efforts and being on your ping list. I didn't see the insults you mention, but they were out of line.

Keep up the good work and keep asking those questions, because they need to be answered.

And Kerry needs to sign the damn 180!

You INITIALLY made the statement that "The majority of scientists believe global warming is real". I asked for proof.

Let's reply again ... I pointed you to a specialist in the field, who said just that (" We are in a period of global warming and almost all scientists agree on that").

A specialist knows what the majority of people in his field are thinking. What more "proof" do you need?

I asked if 17,000 scientists constitute a majority.

I await that reply.

Rush is OK, but he is predictable and boring, never listened to Hannity for more than a few minutes, except when he replaced Rush for a day or so. With that said, he is a clone of Rush, with none of the charm and wit. Savage and Medved are the only national hosts I listen to now. I learn from them both, and am entertained. I seldom agree with Medved on many issues, but he at least has discussions of subjects with more than one side. Savage is full of hot air sometimes, but he is right on the issues of "border language culture". He is also right about how close this nation is to being RULED by govt in total, and how little we as voters know about the agendas of both the Dims and R's.

I want numbers, not an anecdote. I don't even know if the person giving the "evidence" is what s/he say s/he is.

I asked for proof, and you have yet to give it.

I asked if 17,000 scientists constitute a majority.

Please post my EXACT quote where I said that.
