Umm, and whats all so fantastic about this, this is all part of the new media. Becuase you wouldn't hear about this if not for the bloggers, for talk radio, for the Fox news channel. No other media or news organization has even touched this or picked up on this. And its, its amazing because if a Republican did it they would.

Ya' know years ago I used to, uh, I used to follow the FReepers, um, I don't, I haven't been on there for years now honestly, because uh, and I know there are some good people there because I meet some of them at our Book Signing events and other station events that we have. I'm sure I'll see some of your FReepers on the Barnstorming Freakshow of Political Pornography tour that we have comin' up this year.

But you know, I'm, I left that borad in particular and everyone I know knew basically left, uh, because of so much childish, immature, personal attacks... the uh, propensity to eat their own, um, and alot of people, most of them have left, but we have created a REALLY great site on Hannity.com. And um, ya' know, ah, we are not going to allow it, like other places, to be taken over by some fringe people. Its just not gonna' happen here.

The written accounts within this thread detailing Hannity's comments don't convey as effectively as the actual audio does, the words he said, every syllable dripping with envy and jealously towards this great site.

I will say one thing in Hannity's defense - I noticed when I first joined FR that this site does have a tendency to "eat its own" - especially when it's a hot political season.

So I begrudgingly must give him that small point.

However, I think that the majority of us are just regular folk who agree with the president most of the time; and when we don't agree, we trust his character and leadership enough to give his side a fair hearing.

I think the majority of us are not BushBots with no minds of our own. I don't think we tow the party line 100% of the time - I think we are "intellectually honest"...

So for the rest of what Hannity said, I think he needs to visit FR again and see what we are now - a solid group of conservatives who, for the most part, respect each others opinions and ideas...
