As a long time Freeper I will never leave, and have a great allegiance to FreeRepublic and Rush Limbaugh. Both solidified my own opinions on current events and politics in general. However, I understand what Sean says.

Many times I cannot tolerate the posts, and scroll through as fast as I can to find something I consider interesting. I understand FR is suppose to air ideas, however most of them are so repetitive that they become boring to read. He is correct that there are childish and immature posts as well as personal attacks. AND we do eat our own. Still, FreeRepublic is one of the best political websites you can find for conservative thought.

Mark is a real constitutional scholar who can run rings around most all libs. I remember listening to him one morning on Ron Kuby's show. He shut his yap real fast when Levin started talking.

I should amend and say that Robertson is really a good guy. However I'm not a fan of Ann Coulter's mean spirited shtick. She expends so much venom on people who don't really deserve it...that when her venom is really needed for people who do (the Ward Churchills of the world) it doesn't have the sting it should since she does it all the time.

I definitely don't know a lot about you. I've read quite a few of your posts over the years. If I recall, you're a midwestern woman with grown children. Old fashioned values. I might have thought Grant was a little too gruff for you.

We definitely agree on O'Reilly. I can't take the guy at all. Not for 30 seconds.

Did you mean "attack" or "attract"? I would definitely say I enjoy listening to someone acting like a wild man as schtick. Paul McCartney singing "Helter Skelter" comes to mind, or "Long Tall Sally."

I'm not sure if Savage is a fraud, because I am not sure in what way you think he is defrauding people. Nothing jumps to my mind, but then I just listen occasionally while I'm driving home.

I think he's much more intersting to listen to than Hannity or Levin, who merely tell the audience what it already thinks it knows. Savage expresses himself. Is he a blowhard? Well, I guess you have to be to talk into a microphone for hours at a time for a living. So yeah. He's a blowhard. Sicko? I don't know. I'm not a doctor.

I'm addicted to it and I thank fellow freeper-Capt Ron for turning me on to it. If some kooks say something you don't like you just blast them.
