Using the Wayback machine, Hannity.com/forum has added 6240 members in the last 14 months.

FR adds nearly a thousand a week.

Comparisons, as considering such internet forum realities as trolls, fringers, outlandish speaking, etc., increases exponentially when people don't see themselves as part of a small community, but just one small voice in a crowd who will not be held accountable. But, Hannity wouldn't understand that, coming from a hierarchical media background.

I waited to hear it myself, we get Hannity on a delay here, doesn't start till 6.

I can't believe he tried to build up and promote his own forum by bashing ours.

And then admits he hasn't been here in years.

Well, I've been here since '98 and I've seen some buttheads come and mostly go, but most all freepers I've conversed with are good rock solid people that I trust and would rely on.

I guess Sean is going to try the 'Lucianne Model' where you denigrate a good forum in order to promote your own.

It happens for sure. I got nailed by somebody over the weekend for one comment about easing up on other FReepers and their posts on a thread. I've been posting here since 1999, and lurking before that (since I was nervous and jerky to post), and I got one of the relatively newbie viking kitties posting kitties to me and calling me names. Heck, it took me 2 days to come up with a screen name back then...

But I won't talk down FR for getting flamed or whatever it was.

You're always going to have nutbags wherever people gather. Somebody is going to tick off somebody for something er another. Hell, I'm sure I've been a nutbag. Just ask anyone on ATRW..... :-) It can be in a chatroom, a blog site, a thread, a local bar or a family reunion. You just have to deal with it, not quit it. But that's just my own opinion, and I'll climb down off the soap box.

And I'll still listen to Sean.

Bottom line is that Hannity is pimpin' his own gig.

In order to do that, he felt it necessary to slap the-date-what-brung-'em.

That is high smellin' and low livin'.

One good ratings cycle of freeper boycott to his show and watch him sing a different tune.
