There are some fringe loonies who do hang out here and get a little carried away though.

All in all, Jim and the moderators do a good job keeping extremist stuff away from here, so I am not really sure what Sean is talking about.

I've been here six years, and we were much more fringe during the Clinton years. FreeRepublic is pretty well administered these days to eliminate the over the top elements. Most these days are mainstream Republicans. It used to be more Libertarian elements, more radical religious elements, and even some anarchy elements. There is not as much of that these days.

I can't believe he really said that. His board stinks. Anyway, what difference does it make to him what we do here? Don't let the door hit ya, Sean.

I like Sean's show most of the time and I think he's a decent guy. I like how he poured himself into the campaign. For that, Sean, tip o the hat and our heartfelt gratitude.

And, sure, it's probably not easy to log on here and see that people are calling you a knucklehead, etc. But he's the first one to say he SHOULD offer criticism of someone, regardless, if that's his honest opinion. Toughen up, Sean.

FR is anything but "childish." That has got to be the most childish thing I have ever heard Sean said. Everyone knows, if you want the most up-to-date news and analysis (sound familiar?), you COME HERE.

His own board. He says it won't be taken over like FR has been by the fringe elements. Him and all of his friends left FR a couple years ago because we eat our own.
