A liberal - To the Republican community.
1. What are your goals as Republicans?
2. Is your goal to make Liberals to leave America?
3. If you want us to stay, when does this country go too far to the right?
4. If you want us to leave, will the US government pay for our plane tickets?
JimRob's response ain't got nothin' on MINE. Go check it out.

I'll respond, but most of the responses were liberal hate posts about how the right can't wait for us to leave.
My question is, how can we share America? Perhaps one way would be to simply be states rights, and by doing this we seperate the federal government from the states. This way liberals live in all the blue states and conservatives in the red states.
The problem is, every time a liberal posts anything, it seems a lot of Republicans wont even listen. Most of the responses are "Ah just like them liberals, get out and stay out!" type of responses.
To own it all, and live a long time while doing so...
2. Is your goal to make Liberals to leave America?
Not if you can be of any use in the labor camps or organ farms!
3. If you want us to stay, when does this country go too far to the right?
Being right is a virtue. Being left is a curse...
4. If you want us to leave, will the US government pay for our plane tickets?
If you still have something to walk on, start trucking 'til you hit water, then start swimming, you useless toad...
Have some fun PING!
Very well said. Conservatism isn't about what we're against, it's about what we support. There is the occasional faux conservative who knows absolutely nothing about conservative philosophy or principles, and instead defines himself/herself by what he/she opposes, but they tend to be rare on Free Republic.
Well, in the vast concentration camps I envision for liberals, there would be a staging area where we would feed them nothing but beef, beef, beef, with occastional side dishes of salads with blue cheese dressing, and potatoes with butter, cheese, and bacon bits. And we'd make them drink beer and smoke cigarettes and drive SUV's.
At that point, when they are filled up with good Republican foods, we'd bathe them, then slaughter them.
Then on to the canning plant they go.
hmmmmmm....bet that i's because the file is .mov (Quicktime) as opposed to a .wmp (Windows Media Player) I don't think I can convert to a .wmp file...sorry
I most humbly submit that you do not get it. Republicans aren't defined by what we are against, but rather on the proactive policies we support. In a nutshell we stand for a better, stronger, safer, more prosperous America, for all Americans, even homosexuals. We're a pretty neat bunch.
I like to sleep until noon, do you think we can push that up a bit so I can still make the parade?
Dibs on the green women.
1) I'm not a Republican. They are too much to the left for me.
2) Yes.
3) It never will.
4) No. You guys are already bankrupting the country with pills for Grandma, socialist medical system, etc.
AARRGGHHH!!!!WRONG QUESTION. We know the lefties and their ideas much better than they know us.
People like us are desperately (hope am wrong) trying to STOP, just STOP for starters the drift of this country to the f'ing left.
Yes, even under Republican presidents and even under your "dreaded" W. (you heard of the new Medicare benefits, no child left behind, out of control judges...)
When the hell does it go enough to the LEFT for you guys???
When the Prez's first name becomes Teddy or Fidel???
You're right, a lot of the responses on this thread have been of that ilk. It's telling that of the posts that you could have chosen to respond to, it wasn't a constructive one that you chose, that you could actually start a dialog with-- it was one which you could point to as supporting your argument.
Again, this tells me a lot about your actual motivations.
My question is, how can we share America? Perhaps one way would be to simply be states rights, and by doing this we seperate the federal government from the states. This way liberals live in all the blue states and conservatives in the red states.
See, this is actual grounds for a dialog. You're actually proposing a solution to the problem.
My question to you would be: How would decentralizing toward state govenrment allow us to co-exist, if our respective goals are so disparate?
By the way, I tend to support states' rights over federal, where appropriate. I believe the smaller, and more local the government, the more effective and appropriate it is.
Fine ~ except that aren't but one or maybe two BLUE States at the most ...
look closely at the voting map & you will see that all of the rest of the BLUE color represents only BLUE CITIES within RED States.
Ok, I have more questions for you all, but I have some examples at well.
The reason liberals think Republicans(not conservatives in general) hate liberals is simply due to some of the rhetoric used by many very popular spokespersons for the party.
I'm not saying liberals don't have their extremes, but Republicans basically run the entire government now. So why as many Republicans still angree?
Also, what does the Republican utopia look like? I'm not against freedom or liberty. I don't want the government to give me free money, however I do expect the government to stop outsourcing jobs so I can make money and not have to beg the government for it. What is the Republican stance on outsourcing?
I also asked how far right is too right, meaning do we want to get rid of all social programs, public schools, everything, or do we want to keep these things? If you get rid of these things then the economy has to be kicking all ass to support 300 million people with jobs. How do Republicans plan to protect our jobs? Is having jobs by the Republican philosophy a birth right and what happens to people who don't have jobs when there are no social programs?
What does the Republican society look like? Is it a society which liberals can co-exist in or not? Thats the question. If liberals knew they could co-exist in a Republican society I don't think they'd attack Bush so hard, but as things are Liberals feel Republicans are trying to bully them. We either don't understand your ideology or we don't know where we fit in it.
Where to liberals fit in the Republican world? And try to respond in a civil way, no teasing or bullying because it only reinforces some of the stereotypes liberals have about you.
No my friend, they are not the enemy, they are the opposition, and they are our countrymen. It's an important distinction, because we want to crush our enemies. The Taliban was our enemy, Al Queda is our enemy and their destruction is our ultimate goal.
However, we want to put policies into place that will actually benefit our liberal countrymen. The tax cuts we fight for benefit the liberal as much as they benefit us. The umbrella of safety we dillegently support, protects the liberal as much as the conservative. The freedoms we protect, allow them the same freedoms that we allow ourselves. Just because the liberals might not recognize that what we seek is for their benefit in no way diminishes the benefit. In short, we want what's best for them too.
Thanks anyhow.
Really???? Then why did Eason Jordan just have to resign (for hate speech)?
I was reading this and going "Damn, just damn" until I got to the part about the global warming and noticed your tongue planted firmly in your cheek. That was good.
Actually, this thread has made me realize why my marriage to a woman much more liberal than myself has worked for so long: Neither of us has ever lost sight of the fact that both of us want what's best for the country. I get discouraged by guys like this when I realize they think we truely are out to poison the drinking water.
