KR was never booked so the South Republicans have nothing to complain about.

He is against abortion. When he was a teenager he got a girl pregnant and he later found out that she aborted the child. I have heard him talk about the abortion making him almost lose his mind and his had some suicidal thoughts.
A few anti-abortion groups have personally thanked him for writing the song and for supporting pro-life'rs

He wrote those dirty songs years ago. He has grown up and now hangs with people like Charlie Daniels, Bob Segar, and Hank Williams Jr. Most of his new stuff is country and he does not sing the song you were refering to in his concerts.

Actually this is one the events scheduled by the Inaugural committee. It is a concert for youth and is supposed to be in praise of community service. There are several committee scheduled balls. There are also official prayer and church services and a concert for the military, as well as the parade. The President and First Lady make appearances at official balls, etc, and occasionally the others. There are also many non-committee balls and activities. But this particular concert is an officially scheduled event. All these events are paid for by donors. Ok. Makes it even worse in my opinion. If the ball is supposedly in praise of community service, what better choice than a man who in true Bob Hope tradition has tirelessly traveled foriegn theaters in support of our men and women in uniform? If you ask me, that's about the pinnacle of community service.

Wrong Michael. Michael Badnarik was the Libertarian Party candidate.
Michael Peroutka was the Constitution Party candidate.

The dividing line is in The Book.
I choose to follow the example of Christ, including His examples in interaction with the "heathen".
That does not mean that I lay down my right in our Republic to strengthen (or preserve) society with His Truths. I do however accept that man would rather his neck be broken than be forced to bow.
Jesus never forced anyone to bow.
Constraints are inherent in society, but force should be used wisely or it will a. defeat your goals (be they good or bad) or b. be turn against you.

Who exactly do you think teens listen to?

Ever seen him on CMT's Crossroads with Hank Williams Jr. He is very good and has become good friends with Hank. Bocephus is turning him into a conservative.

Did you happen to read their platform? Bunch of libertarians calling themselves "Constitutionalists." Reminds me of a lot of folks around here.

You are ignorant and no nothing about Kid Rock. Maybe you should grab a copy of his latest cd and you would see that it is not full of the crap that he released when he was 19 (which is what WND printed). Most of his new stuff is country and southern rock. He is good friends with Charlie Daniels, Bob Segar, and Hank Williams Jr. Now, I know Hank and Charlie played on the 2000 campaign trail for Bush. They once had some "bad" lyrics too.

I was wondering when someone would bring up Hank's lyrics as a comparison.
