ANOTHER HILLARY SCANDAL

THE indictment of Hillary Clinton's 2000 campaign-finance director, David Rosen, may pose a threat to the senator's presidential bid. For now, the federal indictment is focused only on Rosen, but it is not hard to see the process creeping up the campaign food chain to the senator herself.
[snip]
While there is no indication that the Senate candidate knew of the understating of the cost of the event, is it credible that she would not be aware of a decision that gave her campaign more than a quarter of a million dollars as it entered the final three months before the election?
[snip]
To raise this sum, Hillary would have had to get 280 donors to give the maximum $1,000 individual donation permitted under federal law at the time. A decision of this magnitude how much to say the event cost would have been a huge issue within the campaign.
[snip]
It is just not credible to believe that Hillary didn't know about and approve of the understatement of the event's cost.
Hillary has always been a detail person who kept a hawk-like focus on the cost of even her husband's campaigns. How much more involved and fixated she must have been on a major financial decision that affected her own election effort.
[snip]
If young David Rosen wants to take the fall for Hillary and join the likes of Web Hubbell and Susan McDougal, who chose to languish in prison rather than tell the truth, that is his decision. But don't ask us to believe something the average 8-year-old knows can't be true that a gain to the campaign of $280,000 was beneath Hillary's notice.

Just like the case of her "ignorance" of her husband's unfaithfulness, she's either too stupid or too evilly conniving to hold office.

Perhaps. But her stupidity is only matched by the stupidity of the people that elect, and will re-elect her, to her Senate seat. She will just scream "rightwing conspiracy" and they will keep voting for her and the perky Katie will continue to promote her.

i still haven't gotten over the republican party's failure to prevent her from obtaining a senatorial office. in my view this should never have happened.
first there was the oh-so-high-one rudi guiliani, whom it was said could have the u.s. senate seat, just for running.
but for some reason he didn't run. the excuse given was that he had prostrate cancer. but hundreds of thousands of men get prostrate cancer and women get breast cancer, they deal with it, and go back to work.
then there was the brilliant rick lazio who insulted her highness on a televised debate.
hillary in 2008? there's nothing to stop the clintons. the republicans are incompetent when it comes to the clintons.

You appear to have seen a different debate between Lazio and her thighness than I did. Lazio cornered her on an issue she had brought into the campaign, and the media shills aided and abetted the Wicked Witch from the Midwest in slamming him for 'wielding a pen like a sword' or some such drivel.

No, no no. Remember the amazing reappearing Rose Law Firm billing records with only Hillary's fingerprints on them? Its all just a coincidence - or another right wing conspiracy.

This is the same lady who tried to get a tax deduction for her husband's used underwear. ICK. Of course she knew how every penny was being spent.

Dickie the Toe always has Hillary in his gunsights. If he can help bring Her Heinous down now, later or forever, more power to him.
Morris still pretty much has the hots for Bubba, though. He seems fascinated by the man. Well, the crime syndicate known as Billary can be dissolved by the fall from grace of either one.
So, keep plugging away, Dick.

Why is it that the politician who benefits from illegal funding practices never faces charges, yet the flunky who facilitated the crime on their behalf does?

Have you ever known a person stricken with prostate cancer? For that matter, have you ever seen how people deal with hearing the word "cancer" to describe their illness? For many people, it's like hearing your death sentance. Something as frivolous as running for public office fades into insignificance when compared to running to save your own life. Your insinuation that Gulianni was some kind of pansy to "blame" his withdrawal from the campaign on his illness is condescending and ignorant.
We should be thankful that he overcame his illness, and remains a possible candidate for some elected office in the future.
By the way, in case you've forgotten, when Gulianni learned about his cancer, he DID "go back to work", as you lament. His went right back to city hall and continued his job as MAYOR of the city. He did not QUIT his job as U. S. Senator. He never was one.

Name me one Hillary scandal that the news media, any Democrat, and a large bulk of independents cared about? It is part of Hillary's pact with Satan that whenever she's discovered with dirt on her hands, most people shrug their shoulders and say, "So what?"

actually, i do know men that have had prostrate cancer, had treatment, while they worked and ran their businesses.
and then there was the case of a female physician of mine who had breast cancer, was operated on on a thursday, took the rest of the week off, and was seeing clients on monday.
some people don't like sitting at home and whining, and observe that they feel better and happier, with their minds off of the problems.
