As I and many of my fellow expatriates are often hard pressed to get any non-biased information from the media (we are often stuck with CNN-International!!), I have decided to start this thread in the tradition of the Operation Iraqi Freedom Situation Room threads. I hope this meets with the approval of Jim & John and the Admin guys . . .
The purpose of this thread is to be a place to collect information from all sources into one area for discussion. Specific threads for specific topics and cross linking are highly encouraged.

Sign wasn't that big, it was the small VIETNAM VETS AGAINST JOHN KERRY signs from the Kerry Lied rally.
Response was good from drivers and exiters, bt I did have MANY more blank stares, not sure what that meant.
HOWEVER, the ratio was over 200 to 1, positive responses to the signs.

Just voted in Sonoma County, CA at my usual time (on the way to work). No waiting. Only saw one or two other people all the time I was there, which is typical here. The 'rats have a 2-or-3 to 1 majority in this area. Same here...I guess we're neighbors :) ...it was actually pretty busy at our polling place. No line really, but all the voting booths were filled. We live in Kerry-land (blech!), but we're doing our part to aggrivate the lefty's with our Bush/Cheney bumper stickers. I've been praying for California to go to Bush - that would be a mandate made in Heaven, literally. GO VOTE!!!

I voted about an hour ago. I did not punch the straight ticket box. I wanted the satisfaction of popping the chad for Bush/Cheney and each of the other Republicans. I almost voted for the Libertarian instead of Vern Ehlers (Grand Rapids Michigan) because Vern is gonna win handily, and the Libertarian (Warren Adams) sports a very fun hat in his official photo. :') Voted for the Pubbies in all the "nonpartisan" offices, skipped the unopposed offices, and voted Yes on Proposal 1 (requiring voter approval of new gambling) and Yes on Proposal 2 (defining marriage as between a man and a woman). George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent

UPDATE: More than half of my precinct had voted before noon. An amazing fact. Re. the man and his wife: I am kicking myself for not getting her name and address. I would take her myself, if I only knew. Maybe I will see the nut again today.

CALIFORNIA UPDATE Heavy voting here in Ontario, CA at my local precinct (Prince of Peace Church on 5th). I got in line about 7:30 AM and there was already a line out the door.
Poll workers were checking ID, but of course none was required if you brought your sample ballot and information pamplet. The only problem I noticed was a voter ahead of me had received am absentee ballot and did not bring it. She was told that she would have to surrender that ballot if she wanted to vote in person. Of course she didn't bring it, and claimed not to know even where it was. She was told to call the San Bernardino County Election supervisors office.
BTW: San Bernadino/Riverside is BIG TIME Bush Country even more so then Orange County nowdays. Bush was leading by 20 points in polling in the Inland Empire!

Yep, the word slimey comes to mind don't you think? LOL 3/4ths of the Rats proved themselves to be 'slimey' this season. I've never seen the likes of such underhanded talk and the lies and spin is just outrageous.

The only way Bush will lose Pennsylvania is if the fraudulent pre-votes entered into the machines are allowed by the Dim judges in that state. In Ohio, Bush will win by a good margin. Even loyal Dims must be insensed by the recent partisan and judicial misconduct. What's the deal with the Florida colors? The Media Wing trying to refight the 2000 contest? Bush wins in Florida. George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent

General Norman Shwarzkopf demands the DNC IMMEDIATELY cease and desist the FRAUDULANT phone claiming Schwarzkopf endorsed Kerry.
"The Democratic National Committee is making fraudulent phone calls claiming that I have endorsed Senator Kerry. Nothing could be further from the truth, and I demand that they stop immediately.
"Senator Kerry opposed the Reagan defense build-up that won the Cold War. Senator Kerry opposed the removal of Saddam Hussein from Kuwait. Senator Kerry proposed billions in intelligence cuts after the first attack on the World Trade Center. Senator Kerry voted against funds to equip our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan with supplies like body armor and ammunition.
"I am supporting President Bush for reelection, because he is the candidate who has demonstrated the conviction needed to defeat terrorism. In contrast to the President's steadfast determination to defeat our enemies, Senator Kerry has a record of weakness that gives me no confidence in his ability to fight and win the War on Terror. His attempt to make up for these deficiencies by falsifying my endorsement only confirms my impression that he is not the man we need to lead our nation."
