***Operation 4 More Years - Situation Room - Day 1 - LIVE THREAD***
Various | 2 November 2004 | Various

Posted on 11/02/2004 2:48:56 AM PST by An.American.Expatriate

As I and many of my fellow expatriates are often hard pressed to get any non-biased information from the media (we are often stuck with CNN-International!!), I have decided to start this thread in the tradition of the Operation Iraqi Freedom Situation Room threads.  I hope this meets with the approval of Jim & John and the Admin guys . . .

The purpose of this thread is to be a place to collect information from all sources into one area for discussion.  Specific threads for specific topics and cross linking are highly encouraged.

I feel the same way, I don't want to just sit and watch and worry, but my computer just keeps pulling me back --- but isn't it fun to have this outlet.

Just think, in the "olden" days, you had to wait to watch the networks, and now we know how they manipulate things, we were never given the real story.

Also, it is great to have an ongoing conversation with Freepers!

There are three more votes for "w" in my house for the state of VA. My government teacher said that if Bush wins then we will have a party but if Kerry wins:( we will have a test.

I'm in a very strong republican suburb of Indiana. For the first time ever since I have been voting in this location (12 years) we stood in line for about 1.5 hours. People definitely were not voting a straight ticket. Normally when I have voted here, there is maybe 3-4 people in front of me and it takes them about 15 seconds to vote. I would say for many people voting today, it was taking closer to 3-4 minutes. I noticed 3 people out of about 50 that looked to be in the 18-24 age group. Lots of moms with kids in line. Not sure what all this means. GO BUSH!!!!!!!!

I am also on East Side of Washington State. Dark, overcast day, but dry - no rain. Small town. Polls are open and everything is quiet and orderly. Register 2 votes (me and my boyfriend) for Rossi Nethercutt and G.W.Bush !

I just sent the following to a friend who calls himself a lifelong Republican conservative who lives in San Francisco and who's father also claims to be a lifelong conservative Republican but who are all voting for Kerry because they see Bush as evil and going to bankrupt the nation. He just emailed me again incredulous that I am one of 2 people he knows voting for Bush--how can I be such a dingbat on the issue. etc.

LOVE HEARING FROM YOU, Fred,

Even though I may be incredulous and dismayed at some of the things you say.

I still sense a heart toward good.

Actually, I don't spend any time on conspiracy sites.

You really don't believe me when I say I've studied what I've studied

OR

you don't think I've had any brains awake when I've studied

OR

you think that virtually ALL the material I've studied has been bogus.

None of those assumptions are very logical (or true) but I can understand them.

True, my IQ is at a genius level but geniuses make mistakes aplenty. Thankfully, my study of all this HAS been extensive over more than 4 decades. AND I held it all very skeptically and loosely for probably the first 10-15 years. But when I saw SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH confirming evidence in the daily headlines and from such a persistent WIDE DIVERSITY of sources, then I had no choice but to accept that it was true.

Studying how we know what we know, Sam, is sometimes an important task in itself. My High School Advanced Sr English teacher was a PhD level teacher.

She had us read Karl Marx, Machiavelli, Brave New World, Animal Farm, John Locke, Declaration of Independence and The Constitution; and about that many more of equal weightiness. Some parents were furious that The Communist Manifesto was required reading. At the end of the year, she finally told us what our year end term paper was to be.

She said that it was time we quit believing what we believed just because our parents had taught it to us. That as we wrote our term paper, we had to support what we believed. Then she required us to answer for it the 3 questions: WHO AM I? WHAT DO I BELIEVE? and WHERE AM I GOING?

I had always been in advanced English class. And all my teachers had been good about requiring support for what we said. But she was the best and is known around the state as one of the best all time English teachers along with her Husband whom I had in Jr High. Grammar was never my strength in explaining it or some of it's finer points but I still learned tons.

Then my boss at the Univ Library where I was acting head of the Special Collections Dept in charge of the extreme left to extreme right wing materials--he was also brilliant and very tough and thorough at insisting that one consider all sides of an issue or situation and that one back up their assumptions with credible facts. He was brilliant enough that Columbia University gave him one of 2 PhD programs in Library Science total tuition paid.

It was his nature, style and job to also be in touch with a wide diversity of people and groups to collect rare and likely to be rare pamphlets, posters, broadsides, leaflets etc. as he had in his private collection from Pre WWII Germany. So, he was often a great resource in himself. Interestingly, he is also dismayed with Bush but thinks Kerry is beyond the pale, too.

His major dismay with Bush seems to stem from a deeply entrenched [govge] man of some rank who was his budy in the army. I've begun to believe that the allegations that the CIA and State Departments are riddled with globalist Communists are quite true. The things the [govgt] man has evidently told my boss are rather incredible. They really seem to come from a parallel universe--or--more likely--from an entrenched globalist/Communist bias.

My boss sort of sees the handwriting on the wall in terms of the end times. He certainly knows the Scriptures and allows as how it might be true. But I think he's very reluctant to agree that it's true; though he seems to increasingly know it in his heart.

The sermon by the pastor I sent is totally true. I believe that the bulk of the prophecies I sent to be true. Certainly the globalism stuff is true.

And, it is true that Kerry is AT LEAST 20-30 times MORE RAW EVIL in terms of the demonic forces driving and influencing him than you ever even IMAGINED Bush to be. There's no way I can currently prove that to you. I just know it. Certainly there's evidence for it--semi-trailer loads and libraries full loads of evidence for it. But you wouldn't believe it if I showed it to you.

That is one of my abiding concerns, Fred. AT WHAT POINT--assume for a moment--ASSUME that what I have said begins to come increasingly true in front of your eyes--even on CNN or even in you life as you step outside your home and walk the streets of San Francisco--assume that the end time events and prophetic stuff I've shared begins to come literally true at a faster and faster and more overtly vivid pace.

WHAT WILL IT TAKE for you to realize you've been had by the Eternal Father of Lies on most of this? What will it take to switch sides, for you?

Because if you don't, at some point, you will be one of those marching the likes of me off to the death camps and the guillotine here in the US OF A. You will be one of those sporting the satanic chip implant doomed to be eternally rejected of God.

At what point will you resist all that and insure that you are on God's side.

That's my concern, Fred.

This election is probably the most important one in our lifetime. But it pales in importance to the importance about the degree of puppet master control toward globalism and evil which the media has demonstrated the puppet masters have over the MSM in this election process. It also pales in comparison to the degree of voter fraud brazenly flaunted in this election.

I also think you fail to appreciate the degree to which God--ALMIGHTY GOD--loathes the rampantly frequent practice of birthing a baby up to it's head, then taking a sharp, cold metal instrument without any anesthetic and stabbing it into the back of the baby's head and mushing the brains around until the baby is dead. Old Testament people used to toss their babies live in onto the burning altars to the satanic god Molech. God wiped out whole nations because of it. KERRY VOTED 6 TIMES IN SUPPORT OF SUCH HIDEOUS PRACTICES.

You speak of Bush bankrupting the USA. Kerry's record for 20+ years is one of spending more tax money than virtually any other Senator. His plans call for spending 2-3 TRILLION dollars. And you think Bush is worse? What have you been smoking? What has someone slipped into your drinks? It doens't matter what lie he's telling this minute or the next.

HIS LONG TERM PERSISTENT RECORD HAS BEEN TO TAX AND SPEND and especially to SPEND regardless. PAST BEHAVIOR IS THE BEST PREDICTOR OF FUTURE BEHAVIOR--not his slimey Machiavellian lies to get votes to vainly power monger with.

He has NOT changed his sensibilities or values about such at all. That ONE ISSUE has scheduled the USA for serious judgment and punishment. THAT IS SIMPLY A FACT. You may not believe it. You may think that those of us who know that are dingbats or spend too much time on conspiracy sites. You may believe any fool thing you wish about that. It won't change the fact.

And that is NOT the only issue God is seriously upset at the populace and leaders of the USA over.

I think I have not sent around the goals of the Communist Party for the USA from 50 or so years ago. I thought I had but I don't think I have. In any case, there's a better listing of them than perhaps the one I may have sent. People could scoff at those goals even 40 years ago. Some would scoff at them 30 years ago. Most of those goals HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED. Even you should be able to see that IF YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO LOOK AT THE LIST FAIR MINDEDLY.

Interestingly, also, MOST OF THOSE GOALS FIT INTO BIBLICAL PROPHECIES FOR THE END TIMES RATHER PRECISELY. You SHOULD be able to realize that if you looked at it fair mindedly. But you won't.

And, a lot of those goals were advanced by what people said was happening 35+ years ago. People said 35+ years ago that particularly Russia was funding subversion and the hiring of university faculty which would undermine the fabric of our society as their goals outlined. People who said such things then were laughed out of the discussion as dingbats who spent too much time on conspiracy theories.

Since the 'fall' of the Soviet Union, researchers have uncovered the documentation both in the USA and in KGB files in Germany and in Russia SOLIDLY DOCUMENTING, PROVING THAT 10'S OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS WERE SPENT ON EXACTLY SUCH ACTIVITIES--PARTICULARLY IN INSURING THAT KEY--AND OFTEN MAJORITIES OF FACULTIES IN MAJOR UNIVERSITIES--EVENTUALLY ALL SIGNIFICANT UNIVERSITIES--WERE POPULATED WITH PROFESSORS WHO'S MAJOR JOB WAS TO UNDERMINE THE FIBER AND FABRIC OF OUR JUDEO/CHRISTIAN BASED CULTURE AND SOCIETY.

They did a marvelously successful job for the 10's of millions of dollars spent toward our destruction.

You can deny the historical facts. The facts are there in solid documentation, solid evidence. But you can continue to deny the facts. It will make you more comfortable, temporarily. But eventually, you will be looking in the mirror--if you have access to a mirror at that point--and calling the man you see there, a fool for being so blind.

I don't care about you calling me a dingbat. People have thought me very strange and worse than a dingbat virtually all my life. It hurts a bit sometimes when close loved ones seem to think so but it's not a big burden.

What I care about is that you spend eternity with God. I want to see you there. And I don't know how far down the yellow brick road the puppet masters and the MSM will succeed in leading you.

All I can do is pray and try. The rest is between you and God. But I will not give up. I care for you and for those close to you, too much.

LUB,
Quix

Just voted in Sonoma County, CA at my usual time (on the way to work). No waiting. Only saw one or two other people all the time I was there, which is typical here. The 'rats have a 2-or-3 to 1 majority in this area.

Chalk up two more votes to Bush/Cheney and Winsome Sears here in Virginia.

Going to the precint to vote, there were police officers stationed out front to direct traffic and a lot of people in line.

There was a Firefighters Union booth in front of the precint with a woman sitting and four children passing out flyers for Kerry and Scott. More people out front making comments about candidates in subdued tones but no overt and standout attempts to influence or intimidate votes.

When we entered the polls this morning, there was a long line and more election monitors offering to help than we ever needed in voting. I literally had to tell them to leave me alone so I could vote. It was ridiculous.

I'm glad this fiasco is over.

You guys would just do wonders for this country if you could vote out Osama Mama Murray! I know it is too much to ask that Washington State go red, but I gotta tell you, whenever Miss Patty gets up to speak on the Senate floor, I just see one huge QUESTION MARK over the heads of the other senators!

Report from Tunnel Hill, GA - Northwest part of state. 20 minutes in line with light drizzle, only took a couple of minutes to check in and vote. I was 69th voter on my machine and poll official said they were reaching 800 as I was leaving. I believe this to be a very strong turnout in a high Republican area.

That's two for W so far from this household. Young Techster voted absentee a couple of weeks ago as he is in college, guess where? Mrs. Techster will make it three this afternoon after work.

Rush just said that some other officials are saying those machines in Philly DO have votes on them, allegedly leftover from 2000. Company officials said the numbers on teh machines reflect how many times they;ve been used. The mayor of Philly says there were fewer votes on the machines then has been reported - as if that makes illegal votes ok. I think I'll go buy the Brooklyn bridge tomorrow....
