That last was brilliant of Cheney... telling how he was the first in his family to go to college, how he'd carried a union card (International brotherhood of Electrical Workers - perfect)... had been without medical insurance...
Good for people to know that. : )
(And Edwards can't manage an original thought - everything has to be about Kerry - all talking points.)

I admit Cheney has done quite well this evening, but I'm not so impressed by his standing - 1 in 10 folks from Wyoming go on to be the VP of the US.

Edwards said cargo not being screened I ship goods from Britain all over the world I cannot believe US regulations are different from ours. We have to have secure stores we issue certicates to say on airfreight goods are not able to be tampered with this is screening the manufacturer is being screened at soure I am certain you have similar rules in the States.

I know the pundits always say Vice Presidential debates don't matter, but I can't see how Breck Girl is doing anything but damaging his ticket big time!Give credit where credit is due. Cheney won this debate on his own merits. Edwards has been a good opponent, but certainly not Cheney's cut.

My lovely wife pointed this out: Silky keeps saying that "last Thursday" Kerry showed how strong he was regarding Terror, etc. Well, where was that strength for the last 20 years in the Senate!
