This American Hero is doing a great job! Go Swift Boat Veterans for Truth!
That's AWESOME!
---I still don't see the connection between someone making comments about Muslims and the veracity of typed words spoken by true war heroes.
Anyone care to clarify? How does making stupid comments on FR interfere with ones ability to write down eyewitness accounts? ---
When your back's against the wall and you don't have an answer, change the subject.
OMG...
Kerry was pressured to name names and give specific incidents. He could only name a few, all of which were fully investigated. Of course we know of the Lt. Calli incident, and I think that there may have been one other that they could not disprove. The rest of Kerry's accusations were either diproved or or unsupported.
Pick a lie, any lie
and the media will turn it against Bush.
I'm fed up with the media!
I also regret that I will not have time to get out some of the things that we worked on before he died that have not yet been published at this crucial juncture in the near future because of other projects that are tying us up at this time. I would love to have someone like Admiral Mark Hill address that rally on the 12th in Tom Moorer's name and spirit.
Thanks,I do it for the swiftys, Minus that loser Kerry!
Lehman signed Kerrys citation some years after it was earned. Kerry's Bronze Star was for an engagement on Feb 28, 1969. Lehman was SECNAV from 81-87. Why this is so is unclear to me as of this writing. But I'm sure we'll get to it sooner or later.
Forget "near". Kerry said he was in.
Kerry's Cambodia Claims Scrutinized (On Drudge)
(I did not post the thread with "(On Drudge)" in the title, someone had that added in later when Drudge posted the article, too)
In an Oct. 14, 1979, letter to the editor of the Boston Herald, Kerry wrote: "I remember spending Christmas Eve of 1968 five miles across the Cambodian border being shot at by our South Vietnamese allies who were drunk and celebrating Christmas. The absurdity of almost being killed by our own allies in a country in which President Nixon claimed there were no American troops was very real."
Now, it is important to note that the reason Kerry told this Cambodian story over the years was not because he was just relating where in the country he supposedly was on a certain day. No. He told the story in order to call the U.S. government and Richard Nixon, in particular, deceitful.
The "near" business doesn't cover the context of his assertions and so is clearly not what he "meant". And then we have statements from himself like above where he says plainly he was *in* Cambodia.

Had you heard of this movie before tonight?
I'm not stopping till the truth is out. Always researching!
I believe your right. Buchanan had General Alexander Haig on Monday night and they talk about Kerry and the anti-war movement and how they were out to get Nixon. Of course LBJ never gets the blame.
Haig went as far as to say Kerry went to Vietnam only to come back and betray his country. One of the thing that bothers me about Kerry is that he only bad mouthed the way the US fought in Vietnam but never mentions how horrible the Communist were as if they fought fair and never hurt any civilians.
Imagine if one of Kerrys counterparts on the North Vietnamese side had gone back to Hanoi after his tour of duty and said the things Kerry had said only about his country? The Communist would have had him executed within a day.
And Kerry comes back here and gets treated like a hero by the left.
See my post at #530. Writing to the Boston Herald in 1979, Kerry explicitly says:
"five miles across the Cambodian border"
"Christmas Eve of 1968"
The dreaded name "Nixon"
Go Swift Vets, GO!
Kerry said across then (the media said he said "in" which is less damaging than across, but whatever), but now the Kerryites say he meant "near." So a lot of those little words are in play.
The movie is why they are getting their lawyers involved, to stop the truth.
When you figure out why the Buddhists in Cambodia were "celebrating Christmas" give me a ping.
