John,
I take you to be my awfully-vetted running mate.
To have and to hold (your supporters)
From this day forth (until November, anyway)
For richer and richer,
For better or worse poll numbers,
In sycophancy and in health,
Until campaign debts paid do us part.

Do not count on it, the unions will vote democrat no matter who the VP canidate is. They have no choice. Just like the black voters unions have boxed themselves into a corner with ONE PARTY.
The dems could tell the unions and blacks to go Cheney themselves and what could they do? Vote republican...LOL!

Anyway, Susan Estrich(spelling?) is a know nothing. She gushes about Edwards being like Bill Clinton..sheesh, these Dems really can not get over Billy Boy can they!
First of all the USA does not need another Bill Clinton in the post 9/11 world. We need adults running the country and not shallow image makers.

I do hope they harp nonstop on this "two america's theme", and that Rove is smart enough to put out a commercial showing Kerry's Multi-million dollar estates, and Breck Girls $5 Million Dollar Beach House with soundbite overlays of Kerry and Breck Girl spouting about "Two America's".

Yep, and those homes, contrasted with the Bush's Prairie Chapel Ranch ( their ONLY home), will cement the idea in peoples' minds that the two Johns are definitely in theUltra-Rich American camp.

LOL!

FOX News: Kerry had previously remarked of Edwards that "Now is not the time for On-The-Job Training". They further remarked that would likely be used in a Bush ad.

Now we have a deadhead tree and a Trial Lawyer on the 'RAT ticket.

Expect the dims to play the tune that Bush hasn't done enough to stop outsourcing. That would appease the labor side.

Ok, that explains it. I thought there was something wrong, most of the women I know from South Africa are very sexy.,

Ah, but Teresa is a self-described sexy 65 year old.

If "Go Johnny Go" doesn't get this campaign off the ground, Kerry might as well concede the race come convention time.

And another thing,

Edwards did not serve in the military. Most think he was too young for Vietnam but in truth, his number wasn't called.

You err only in that you assume there is this vast "middling" left to sway. They have, for all intents and purposes, decided to sit out politics, as evidenced by the ever-decreasing voter turnout that is not matched by a decrease in party registration.

That having been said, I agree that there is almost no focus in the Bush campaign, and in the Pubbie campaign at large. What focus there is, however, is at that vanishing "middling" to the explicit exclusion of the base. This election, and essentially all future elections for the foreseeable future, will turn on who delivers the base, and that is something I don't see the Pubbies engaging in.

The "good" news, if there is any, is that the RATs are making the same mistake. Of course, given vote fraud, it's a mistake they can tolerate far better.

There is a choice--not to vote period. The Dems need a large turnout to be competitive. John-John will not have them running to the polls.
