Having him on camera with Edwards really would contrast and highlight his dour blandness and smug arrogance. His eyes are darker than frankenstein's monster. I hope they show they together a lot.

I wonder how much anti-war rhetoric we'll get. Try to appeal to all the twentysomething's girlfriends who might have a guy getting shipped out, that sort of thing.
This is gonna be one hell of a guilt ridden campaign, no matter what.

I remember you and Howlin telling me about Edwards' lack of attention to North Carolinians during the Dem primary. :)
Gave me a good education on Edwards too.

Kennedy selected him for the VP to sort of put him on ice--make him a political nobody, Rubbish. They were not poltical enemies only rivals for the nomination. Kennedy did not chose him out of revenge or to put Johnson on ice. Kennedy picked Johnson because he could count.

Matthew Dowd expects a 15 point swing in the horserace, based on historical averages.
There will be a bounce, but I am guessing it will be less than what we have seen in the past.

I was at a 4th of July party this weekend in MA, with a lot of wealthy NY liberals there, and had to excuse myself from the room from what I was hearing. I did not want to start a fight because I was a guest, but they were actually mad at Katie Couric for how she interviewed Michael Moore? These libs are rabid over this election. I think we need to get our collective heads out of our butt, and the White House needs to stop playing possoom before it is too late.

Go back to bed and get out on the other side. My 2 cents is worth as much as yours.

I love the way the press is playing this. From the word "farm" to "ranch".

YEP,,, when Kerry loses, Edwards will run against Hilary in 2008 for the Democratic Nomination.

kinda like when the markets already factor in a fed rate hike...

There will be a bounce, but I am guessing it will be less than what we have seen in the past. That's what happens when there is no "middle" left (helpful hint for the Bush team; stop trying to chase that nonexistant middle and make sure the conservatives show up).
