As a North Carolinian, I'm delighted Edwards won't be one of our senators anymore...but the possibility he'll be Veep is truly disgusting!
To: section9
Bush won't pick Condi... people would just make it out to look like Bush was feeling threatened and that he was unstable. Besides, Bush considers Cheney a very competent person, and isn't liable to drop him for Condi just to do the politically expedient thing.
To: Catspaw
It probably was Gephardt, before it was Edwards.

He may be a "beauty"....but he's second choice to the hideous McCain.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Hummmmmmmmmm Let me think during the dem debates wasn't it KERRY & EDWARDS that disagreed the most. (excluding Kucinch)
To: djf
So much for the big surprise, LOL. This is good for Bush, Edwards won't help in the South and doesn't help anywhere else.
Plus, he's a lawyer.

Big business will eat the trial lawyer for breakfast.

(After 30 years in the Senate, all Kerry has to run on is 4 months of service in Viet Nam.)

Speaking of debate...I can't wait to see Cheney make lunchmeat out of that know-nothing boy.

Yeah, but like I said on another thread, the thought of a campaign with the Gepper sent chills down my spine...

"So much for the NY Post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I don't know we all know how fast JFKerry can change his mind. As far as I can tell this whole song and dance about picking a VP is a method to get FREE publicity.
To: leadpenny
He went with the safe choice.....hmmmmm.
