Bush won't pick Condi... people would just make it out to look like Bush was feeling threatened and that he was unstable. Besides, Bush considers Cheney a very competent person, and isn't liable to drop him for Condi just to do the politically expedient thing.

I love both Cheneys, but saw him speak twice recently, once from front row.

He looks VERY tired.

I sure hope Condi runs for president in 2008. She is a very impressive lady. The liberal feminists and black leaders will have to bend over backward on that one. But of course they will find a way.

Condi is a globalist (she has mentioned in her past life a provost and as NSA the need for "globalization" in regards to foreign policy) and where she is very competent on matters of national security, she is not fit for higher office.

Bush will keep Cheney and use him as the attack dog - which he's good at.
