Edwards has not served North Carolinians. He's served only his "unbridled ambition."

I was just thinking the same thing.
Kerry, in 30 years, has no significant legislative accomplishments.
Edwards, in 1 term and possibly un-re-electable, has no significant legislative accomplishment.

Well, I'm off to do other things. Nothing short of nuclear attack will be on the news.

I believe Estrich is dead wrong. Hillary wants the presidency and must run in 2008. She will sabotage the two Johns, allow America to enjoy four more years of prosperity, and dream of her term floating on the coattails of Bush's policies. Bill Clinton's "it's the economy stupid" was merely a result of Reaganomics.

"win or lose, Edwards will appear as the heir apparent to Kerry"Like Lieberman was the heir apparent to Gore? Don't count on it. Edwards can't get elected in his own state. When he loses in November, Edwards will go into a "powerhouse" DC lawfirm. He'll reappear on blue-ribbon commissions during the next Democratic presidency.

David Brinkley (the unhistorian) was asked by Matt Lauer who Kerry consults on his decisions. Brinkley says the first person he consults is his wife. Bwhahahaha.

I know some people who currently work in DC and others who've worked there in the past. All Dem operatives. Not only do they think Kerry is a complete horse's arse, but it's well known by insiders that Kerry is about as much of a filanderer and Kennedy and Clinton are.

The Edwards pick is also a bone to Nader. Remember, Ralph urged Kerry to pick the Breck girl.
