An Indian tribe has forced distributors of an Arab studies guide for U.S. teachers to remove an inaccurate passage that says Muslim explorers preceded Christopher Columbus to North America and became Algonquin chiefs.

Peter DiGangi, director of Canada's Algonquin Nation Secretariat in Quebec, called claims in the book, the "Arab World Studies Notebook," "preposterous" and "outlandish," saying nothing in the tribe's written or oral history support them.

I hear Rush saying it in quite a delightful way all the time. A "skull full of mush" describes youths' minds that are to be molded and shaped during the learning process at school, home and church. I am far from youth, but perhaps you are being sarcastic. So many are so quick to take offense to everything.

I am far from being sarcastic. It is derogatory. That is the purpose of an insult. That is how Rush uses it.

I have never taken it as such - mainly a cute phrase to highlight children during the learning process. Like I said, some will find anything to be objectionable. Such is the world of political correctness and hyper-sensitive types. Reviewing your posting behavior (in my opinion) has a history of that. Good day.

I know that some folks are slow to laugh, but this is ridiculous!
