Prayer to the Mother of the Lord for all mothers
Mary, on this day when we honor all mothers, we turn to you. We thank the Lord whom you serve for the great gift of motherhood. Never has it been known that anyone who sought your intercession was left unaided by grace. Dear Mother, thank you for your "Yes" to the invitation of the angel which brought heaven to earth and changed human history. You opened yourself to God's word and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

Dear mother, intercede for all of our mothers. Ask your Divine Son to give them the grace of surrendered love so that they could join with you in giving their own "Fiat." May they find daily strength to say yes to the call to the sacrificial love- the very heart of the vocation of motherhood. May their love and witness be a source of great inspiration for all of us called to follow your Son.

On this Mothers day, Mother of the Word Incarnate, pray for us who have recourse to you...

In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

So THEN tell me WHY DID John baptize Jesus ???? IF our Lord HAD NO SINS to repent? Why did he need Baptism? Or is it your contention Christ was a sinner too then? Unfortunately the Bible does not offer us those exact details required for a judge or jury....but letting everyone decide for themselves is a disaster just the same...

The Holy Family were an observing Jewish family, the Bible gives us no reason to believe they would not practice the laws of the the Torah and Temple rituals...Christ tells us he even came to fulfill the Law, not Abolish them.....

Mary was "made Grace" before the Annunciation....although we say "full of Grace" the exact greek grammatical translation is that she was in fact "made Grace" and this was not a result of her being with Child when the Angel came upon her...how could this be?

The Will of God runs Heaven. The angels & saints are in conformity with the Will of God.

Do not think that Catholics worship Mary. We worship the Triune God and no other gods before Him.

We only venerate Mary.

The idols of Mary, the kneeling before these idols and praying to the image it represents, the candles lit in her honor, the prayers to Mary, etc, etc, etc....all say the Roman catholic worships Mary.

Hahn has to read back into the Scriptures to "find" Mary in the OT. That's called eisegesis....reading into the text something that isn't there.

No...the Greek translation should be rendered, "Greetings, favored one."

For Rome to be correct on this a number of verses have to be negated which notes all created beings are sinners.

Digging deep into the oldest scriptural Jerome translation of Koine Greek, and not the newer assigned meaning in classical Greek, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that this seldom used, uniquely place word has way more impact than just a common salutation... and one necessary for St. Luke to use to bring us into the magnificence of his Gospel as intended to proclaim the Incarnation as to be perfect as Christ was ......

Even this RC approved translation gets it correct.

However, for the Immaculate Conception to be correct the following verses have to be negated:

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23
