Prayer to the Mother of the Lord for all mothers
Mary, on this day when we honor all mothers, we turn to you. We thank the Lord whom you serve for the great gift of motherhood. Never has it been known that anyone who sought your intercession was left unaided by grace. Dear Mother, thank you for your "Yes" to the invitation of the angel which brought heaven to earth and changed human history. You opened yourself to God's word and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

Dear mother, intercede for all of our mothers. Ask your Divine Son to give them the grace of surrendered love so that they could join with you in giving their own "Fiat." May they find daily strength to say yes to the call to the sacrificial love- the very heart of the vocation of motherhood. May their love and witness be a source of great inspiration for all of us called to follow your Son.

On this Mothers day, Mother of the Word Incarnate, pray for us who have recourse to you...

In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

You've thrown in part of the MEMORARE. Your intro is a mixture of parts of prayers.
Why did you do this?

Why would you pray to a human? Mary was the mother of human Jesus. God has no mother, grandmother or great grandmother..
Sorry, I just don’t understand.

So, that her prayers are added to yours, Jesus loves his mother, at the Wedding of Cana Jesus performed a miracle at her request.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is in heaven. Not on earth.

Theotokos

The Council of Ephesus in AD 431 decreed that Mary is the Theotokos because her son Jesus is both God and man: one divine person

English lacks a satisfactory equivalent of the Greek

Have you ever asked a friend for help? Do you believe people are alive in Heaven? Do you believe through God’s power, those live people can understand your requests?

If the answer is yes, then you should know why people pray to ask for Mary’s help and prayers for us to her Divine son who granted her request at Cana..

A one time event. Roman Catholicism has turned this one event into a whole justification to worship Mary.

There were other instances where Jesus did not always respond to Mary....if one reads the NT in context.

The Mother of our Savior is not annoying to anyone.
Christ gave us Mary from the Cross... "behold thy Mother".... And when he did that.....he gave her to every human being, not just Christians.... just as he died for all.

There is no annoyance with that......only in a mis-perception unable to grasp how Mary's soul of Grace "magnifies The Lord".....
And she is the New Eve..... And like Eve was born without Original Sin.....

those who deny that affect only themselves......not others,......

Seriously, did you make all of that up yourself?

I don’t normally tread on peoples beliefs but growing up baptist and dabbling in Catholicism, I’ve never heard some of that stuff anywhere.

The point of my post is that Rome has taken this one account and has built a whole system of Mariolatry around it. Some Roman Catholic writers have said one has to go through Mary before one can come to Christ.

Others say basically Mary runs Heaven.

No. He gave her to John and only John. The Greek is clear on this.

And she is the New Eve..... And like Eve was born without Original Sin.....

Only in Roman Catholicism; but not in the New Testament.

For this to be the case it would have to contradict a number of passages in the Bible.

There is clear Biblical evidence that Mary viewed herself as a sinner.

In connection with the birth of a baby boy, the Mosaic law commanded that, at the end of her purification period, a mother should offer “a lamb one year old for a holocaust, and a young pigeon or turtledove as a sacrifice for sin.”

Regarding a woman who could not afford to offer a lamb, the law stated: “She is to take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for the holocaust and the other for the sacrifice for sin.” (Lev. 12:6-8, Catholic Jerusalem Bible)

Had Mary been sinless, she would have misrepresented matters had she offered a sin offering. Yet the Bible reports that Joseph and Mary came to offer, “in accordance with what is said in the Law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.” (Luke 2:24, JB)

By complying with a law applying to sinful humans, Mary acknowledged that she was imperfect.

LoL..... It's all Biblical.... Just a bit deeper than most can handle.....and especially difficult for those who must interpret the Gospels for their own needs.... Not God's. . IF you are really serious about learning about what "you're not hearing anywhere "- the most concise source is probably a book titled -"Hail, Holy Queen: The Mother of God in the Word of God" written by Scott Hahn- a once Protestant Biblical scholar who is a treasure in the Church. You can even catch you tube talks he did based on his book.....

And no worries.... You can't tread on my "beliefs"... No foul there....

And IF you are interested.....google "fetal Microchimerism" and learn what geneticists are learning about cell transfer between Mother and child.....and realize what that means for the Blessed Virgin Mary. It's incredible stuff..... But that's how God is.....don't kept anyone limit God's Glory either..... Stay strong.....
