'No...the Greek translation should be rendered, "Greetings, favored one."

Digging deep into the oldest scriptural Jerome translation of Koine Greek, and not the newer assigned meaning in classical Greek, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that this seldom used, uniquely place word has way more impact than just a common salutation... and one necessary for St. Luke to use to bring us into the magnificence of his Gospel as intended to proclaim the Incarnation as to be perfect as Christ was ......

So you don't agree... and you certainly don't have to.. but your missing out.....

28 And he came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” NRSVCE

Even this RC approved translation gets it correct.

However, for the Immaculate Conception to be correct the following verses have to be negated:

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23

What then? Are we any better? Not at all. For we have already made the charge that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin. Romans 3:9

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8

Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am cleansed from my sin"? Proverbs 20:9

Surely there is no righteous man on earth who does good and never sins. Ecclesiastes 7:20

Do not bring Your servant into judgment, for no one alive is righteous before You. Psalm 143:2

When they sin against You--for there is no one who does not sin--and You become angry with them and deliver them to an enemy who takes them as captives to his own land, whether far or near, 1 Kings 8:46

If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near; 2 Chronicles 6:36

*****

The Bible only records one person Who was without sin:

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 1 Corinthians 5:21
