A historic interfaith covenant was signed in the Middle East on Monday, February 4th, and the mainstream media in the United States has been almost entirely silent about it. Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb is considered to be the most important imam in Sunni Islam, and he arrived at the signing ceremony in Abu Dhabi with Pope Francis "hand in hand in a symbol of interfaith brotherhood." But this wasn't just a ceremony for Catholics and Muslims. According to a British news source, the signing of this covenant was done "in front of a global audience of religious leaders from Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other faiths":
The pope and the grand imam of al-Azhar have signed a historic declaration of fraternity, calling for peace between nations, religions and races, in front of a global audience of religious leaders from Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other faiths. Pope Francis, the leader of the world's Catholics, and Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, the head of Sunni Islams most prestigious seat of learning, arrived at the ceremony in Abu Dhabi hand-in-hand in a symbol of interfaith brotherhood. In other words, there was a concerted effort to make sure that all of the religions of the world were represented at this gathering.

Advocates of Chrislam point to facts such as Jesus being mentioned 25 times in the Quran, or Christianity and Islam having similar teachings on morals and ethics, or the need for the two largest monotheistic religions to unite to fight against the rise of atheism and alternative spirituality (Peter Kreeft's, Ecumenical Jihad). Chrislam is viewed by many as the solution for the ongoing conflict between the Western world, which is predominantly Christian, and the Middle East, which is predominantly Muslim. Chrislam ultimately fails because Christianity and Islam are diametrically opposed on the most important issues. The Islamic Moon God, Allah, is a singular entity while the Christian God is triune (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Muslims view Jesus Christ as a prophet while Christianity says He is God, the second member of the triune Godhead. True Christianity declares Jesus to be God incarnate while Islam says that Allah is unknowable. For Christians, the deity of Christ is a non-negotiable, for without His deity, Jesus death on the cross would not have been sufficient to be the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2).
Islam demands the death of the Infidel to atone for a Muslim's sins. Islam adamantly rejects the deity of Christ. The Quran declares the idea that Jesus is God to be blasphemy (5:17). Belief in the deity of Christ is considered shirk (filth) to Muslims. Further, Islam denies the death of Christ on the cross (4:157-158). The most crucial doctrine of the Christian faith is rejected in Islam. As a result, the two religions are absolutely incompatible, making Chrislam a concept both Christians and Muslims should reject.
Some current proponents of Chrislam are Rev. Jeremiah Wright, late Robert Schuller, Glen Beck, Tony Campolo, Brian Maclaren, and Pope Francis. Chrislamic people themselves see no problem with the basic unity of the two religions, because they say that God loves all people and wants us to love all people. Former President Obama's pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is quoted as saying, "I made it [Chrislam] comfortable for him [Obama] to accept Christianity without having to renounce his Islamic background."
Arthur C. Clark predicted this would happen.........Chrislamics............
Chrislam=more infidels to kill.
We have globalists and globalism taking over Western governments, politics, economics, banking, certainly entertainment, culture and media.
I suppose it is to be expected for religion also.
Francis ponying up for his daily dose of heresy
The Anti-Christ isn't going to be leading a group of 200 different, individual heretical sects.
The article seems a tad overwrought. It looks to me like they were merely pledging to live in peace with one another. “One-World Religion” seems to be an exaggeration.
And here we go folks - Babylon approaches
This is the dumbest thing the pope has done.

Correct. Just a small difference//sar. A thousand years and Catholicsm and Orthodoxy have not been able to get past the Filoque in the Nicene Creed. Still this Pope is something a lot more than Pontiff. A lot more and a lot darker.
He had a discussion with some of the folks from The Temple Institute, the guys that are in the process of constructing the 3rd Temple.
"Yeah, you folks have the spoons and bowls and even the red heifer (three, in fact), but you don't have the Ark of the Covenant."
To which he replied by giving him a knowing, wry smile.
These people don't even realize why they're building this temple, or who they're building it to.
We should not listen to him
“This is the dumbest thing the pope has done.”
That’s saying something.
Won’t work.
Can’t even talk against it as that is unproductive speech.
Every paragraph is deceptive.
Totally incompatible. Full of lies.
I need to talk to a priest.
Wonder how the sermons will go this weekend.
This will hasten mankind’s downfall.
Give me a conscientious atheist rather than a devout mohammedan
Atheists generally mind their own business.
mohammedans and Communists don’t mind their own business.
