Requesting Prayers For My Son David - He was Assaulted Today And Is Hospital With Concussion

I received a call from a local hospital shortly after 3:00 p.m. informing me that my son David had been beaten up and brought there by ambulance. They were performing X-rays and CT scans. It appears that he suffered a concussion. My wife is at the hospital and I will be following her there in the next few minutes.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up Your Child David in Jesus Name.
We Believe that By Your Stripes we are healed, and we ask this for David, who was viciously attacked by the enemy.
For we recognize that we battle, not against flesh and blood, but against the enemy of our souls.
We pray for healing for his mind and body, and we pray that You will restore him to full health.
We pray also that those who did this will be brought to justice.

Dear FRiends,

Thank you so much for your Prayers on behalf of my son, David, and for my wife and me. David did sustain a mild concussion and was taken by ambulance to the Trauma Center at Prince George's General Hospital. His X-rays and CT scans all came back negative - no broken bones - no subdural hematoma.

The perp was arrested and we hope that the Criminal Justice System will, for once, do its job. This is Prince George's County, Maryland, and frankly, I think it depends on who the State's Attorney is and who the Judge is on the trial date.

Again, thank you very much for your Prayers - Free Republic is indeed an extended family. I will keep you all updated as I obtain additional information.
