I wouldn't really classify St Pio as an incorruptible. His body was injected with formalin after death, and even then there was a little decay. They made a silicone mask for the display. Now this is incorruptibility:

Not that lack of incoruptibility denies sainthood, of course. The real thing is just really neat :)

Not suprising, last year that was a big deal made over a book that came out about Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta and very dark nights of the soul. From what I have heard, before she died, she directed that here papers be burned. But it never happened and that book resulted.

Just out of curiousity, why would Protestants care whether a man they believe is a fraud (that would include ALL popes) thinks someone else might be a fraud?

It might even rival the bilge-filled screeds you’ve been posting lately that are so vile they don’t just get locked by the RM, they get vaporized from the site altogether.

Jesus Himself was considered a fraud by many, as well. Does this fact affect your allegiance to Him? Character assassination by innuendo is a pretty low form of attack against anything, especially when the sources used are themselves generally hostile to the one using them. Or do you think the Times is particularly favorable to Christianity? If not, you and they, for the moment here, are the ultimate allies of convenience.

There are people out there with a terrible hatred of Padre Pio.

Why is this? He was persecuted in life and now in death. Satan feared him while alive and physically attacked Padre Pio in his cell. That alone should be an indication this great saint's holiness.

Why are you posting a 'news' article from 2007?

No, that would require finding an obscure sermon from the first half of the 20th Century where some insignificant charlatan denounces Padre Pio.

You're kidding right? If they could find a critical article from 1930 they would post that as news.

This article is from October 2007. Why post old “News”?

Sorry your fragile world view is so easily shaken. Trust in Rome if ye wish, it will burn when the Lord’s judgment comes on the Earth.

Do you normally speak as if you’re reading the KJV?

Read the book “Padre Pio: The True Story” by C. Bernard Ruffin, who is an American Protestant minister who investigated Padre Pio in the 1980s and interviewed many people who knew him. He concluded that Padre Pio was the real deal
