What's "winning" if you have to morph your principles or hold your nose to do it? And if you've changed your principles have you really won? I think Lincoln would disagree with you. Sometimes you have to go outside of the system to save the system.
I say, "hold your nose" if that is what is required to win this war against the terrorists. (Getting rid of the clintons is an essential 1st step,)

Well, if Arnold dropped and Bustermoney wins, the folks in Cali get what they deserve. Same holds true for Republicans who vote for Arnold. If Arnold turns out to be Reaganesque, hurray! But beware of RINOS bearing gifts...
Certainly don't envy the folks in California. Of course, I live in a state being run by a Canadian Communist.
To: Afronaut
Again with the deceit. If you didn't use your 'imagination' so much your political statement would be better.

Hey, you might be right. We'll never know until the man is in office. Arnie just might govern from the right, but I've been burned way to many times to believe the RINO line. If Cali is anything like NJ, Arnie will be Bustamecha lite.

Like why my analysis of the situation is wrong.Basically its sophomoric and unrealistic. Combine that with vapid and insipid and my critic is finished.

If voting for Arnold (the lesser evil) means keeping Bustamante out of office (the greater evil), evil will still be in office.
I simply can not understand the rationale to vote for Arnold to keep Bustamante out of office.

I would suggest you read 1984.

It doesn't sound as if you've been listening to the discussion. Or at least, not both sides.

I do remember that Jesus said to count the cost, and that He lamented that the sons of the kingdom weren't as wise as the children of this age.
I don't think stupidity and sword-falling are adorning practices.
In spiritual matters, I reserve faith for things promised by God in His Word. He didn't promise that McClintock would win. So I need to be wise.
And a vote for McC isn't wise.
