I do remember that Jesus said to count the cost, and that He lamented that the sons of the kingdom weren't as wise as the children of this age.
I don't think stupidity and sword-falling are adorning practices.
In spiritual matters, I reserve faith for things promised by God in His Word. He didn't promise that McClintock would win. So I need to be wise.
And a vote for McC isn't wise.

Then why don't you take a poll here on Free Republic and see how many would vote for McClintock "if he could win". If you get more than 50% of the people here I would suggest you need to take a better look at your convictions and not give them up so fast. Just because there is evil in the world is no reason to surrender to it!
