Considering the expense to the American taxpayer and use of American men and women as 'extras' for this media stunt, President George W. Bush should pledge that his USS Lincoln landing not appear in any 2004 Presidential Campaign Commercials and Videos.

I think there's more truth than poetry in that observation. It's hard to believe they'd find any support for it.They've allowed their pure "hatred" of BUSH to overcome their thought processes. The White House already made this pledge..if the Dims were paying attention to ABC News this morning! WHO made that pledge??? That is absurd...this is not about who "funded" it...it is about America thanking its troops through its President. When Bush stood up there on that deck, he stood there for every American, to say thank you. Of course that footage should be used in the campaign...because it reminds Americans how this great American has served them and their interests.
