One of the talking heads last night said that the main reason the 'rats can't handle this is that it clearly shows the DIVERSITY of people that embrace this Pres. - as they did on the ship.

I think there's more truth than poetry in that observation. Indeed, someone ought to point that very plain fact out to Norman Mailer (who claims that the Iraq war was only waged to "stroke white men's egos"). [gag]

The White House already made this pledge..if the Dims were paying attention to ABC News this morning!

WHO made that pledge??? That is absurd...this is not about who "funded" it...it is about America thanking its troops through its President. When Bush stood up there on that deck, he stood there for every American, to say thank you. Of course that footage should be used in the campaign...because it reminds Americans how this great American has served them and their interests.
