On the wall behind this black-masked Hamas terrorist is a poster of Osama bin Laden. Note the two black flags around the poster. Anyone have a translation of the Arabic on the poster, or know just which black flags these are?

A massive uprising of Mahdi'ists would undoubtedly set in motion a chain of events which might bring about the unleashing of the nuclear arsenals of the US and USSR (to say the least).

Afterward Islam would be decidedly a minority religion confined, as it were, to a couple of the Westernmost islands of Indonesia.

This is not exactly the kind of thing a Messiah-like figure strives for.
