President Trump on Saturday said Iran is begging for an end to the war, but he’s not ready to strike a deal with Tehran until they get serious about the proposed terms.
“Iran wants to make a deal, and I don’t want to make it because the terms aren’t good enough yet,” Trump told NBC News, adding that any agreement would require Iran to completely abandon any nuclear ambitions.
The president said the conditions of an agreement with Iran have to be “very solid” before he’ll agree to halt the US-Israel military campaign — and even questioned whether their new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is still alive in the interview.

With the utmost respect I very much doubt Iran wants to end the conflict. They just want to continue it unopposed.

When you are not in a position of power or control, your negotiating position is pretty weak. You’re pretty much have to accept what the other side is offering or you will be eliminated one way or the other.

The Iran government hasn’t told the truth since, and before, they gained control of the country around the 7th century. Control won’t be reached until there is a firm and unyielding overseeing of the leaders and that they are freely working with other countries in a managed atmosphere they cannot vary from. Sound impossible? Their only other alternative is loud explosions and flying bodies which they will gladly accept to get their virgins and satisfy their god. Making deals have to be two way.

To win a fight, the victor must beat on their opponent to the point where the opponent is begging for mercy and surrenders completely before the fight ends.
Iran may never reach that point and still be alive.
