Almost 40 per cent of new homes built by 2030 will be needed for migrant housing, Conservative Party analysis shows.
The research is based on the Office for Budget Responsibility's latest Economic and Fiscal Outlook which expects a net migration of 1,172,792 people between 2026 and 2030.
The means there would need to be around 499,000 extra homes to house new arrivals, according to the ONS average household size.
During the next four years, the UK is forecasted to build 1.34million new homes, meaning 37.1 per cent could be used to home migrants.
The figure was used to hit out at Labour with Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp claiming it would have 'real consequences for rents, house prices and who gets access to new homes'.
'Labour has opened the door without any plan to deal with the consequences,' he told the Sun.
Shadow Housing Secretary Sir James Cleverly added: 'Labour can promise a building spree, but the OBR's own figures show more than a third of those homes will be absorbed by migration before local families even get a look in.

It’s going to be a disaster. After the Almeda fire, the NGO in charge of the approvals and money catered to Hispanics. One illegal woman that I met, renter got a brand new mobile home free.
The money i got for emergency catastrophe funds was taken without notice from my social security checks for over 2 years included $10,000 interest. I sent them a check for the full amount marked paid in full. Didn’t faze em!

I realize that this is a UK article. Here in Huntsville, Alabama, USA over the last four years there have been many (20-30) very large community apartment and condo/town-home complexes that have sprung up like mushroom spores after a rainfall. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I’m certain that investors were banking on accommodating liberal democrats’ bringing up 10’s of millions of illegals.
The colonizers of yesteryear have watched their homeland itself become a colony.
Curious that in “democracies”, no one asks whether the electorate WANTS to take in more migrants. What percentage of British voters desire to add 1.2 million more people and pay for THEIR new houses and everything else?

“Renters” who can’t/won’t/don’t pay rent themselves will guaranteed to be ultra responsible stewards of the property...not. Any homeowner who falls for this is a complete fool. Or is this a Democrat deal where family members will “rent” from ther parents and the State will pay them?
The idea that our western societies will cease to exist as we know them terrifies me. But western nations are not having babies. If we don’t repopulate with immigrants, who will pay into Social Security? Medicare? We need babies now, or it’s game over.
