Four people were fatally stabbed by an irate man during a reported violation of a no-contact order in an affluent waterfront community in Washington state on Tuesday morning.
Three victims died at the harrowing scene at a cul-de-sac in Gig Harbor – a tourist hotspot just 45 miles outside of Seattle. A fourth was rushed to a nearby hospital, but succumbed to their injuries, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
The 32-year-old wielding the knife was shot and killed by the lone responding deputy on the street lined with homes ranging from 600,000 to $800,000, authorities said.
The relationship between the victims and the suspect is currently unknown, Tacoma Police Officer Shelbie Boyd said.
Police responded to reports of a no-contact order violation in progress around 8:40 a.m., but learned before they arrived that the order wasn’t actually valid since it hadn’t been served yet.

I used to moonlight for Rainier bank responding to cash machine problems. My favorite one was the one in Gig Harbor. What a beautiful place.

Headlines that used to shock the nation and result in weeks of coverage are now so frequent we barely even notice the carnage.
Here is some good news though. Employees of a moving company spotted a 2 year old that they recognized from a missing child report. They blocked in the vehicle and called the police.

A guy here in northern Virginia butchered his wife and daughter and attacked his son-in-law, who might yet survive, before cops killed him.
About a week before, just south of here, another family mass murder happened.
In both cases, the cops declined to ID the killers, although they did tell us about the murders last week yesterday.

It’s a small harbor town across the sound from it, and just across the Tacoma narrows bridge west of Tacoma.
